Christine’s story highlights a common experience felt by people living with HIV when disclosing their status. In fact, a majority of participants from the HIV Stigma Index (over 80%) expected others to treat them negatively because of their HIV status.
Let’s be open to people’s unique experiences, get informed and stop the stigma!

L’histoire de Christine met en lumière une expérience communément vécue par les personnes qui vivent avec le VIH lors de la divulgation de leur statut. En fait, la majorité des participants à l’étude sur l’indice de stigmatisation du VIH - HIV Stigma Index - (plus de 80 %) s’attendaient à ce que les individus les traitent négativement en raison de leur séropositivité.
