Khorkina was my favorite for so many years. Looking back its shocking to watch a human put their body to the test that way while so emaciated. I did not notice then because it was normal for the girls to starve & fast back then & the “beauty” & “lines” of it was so praised. Im glad todays gymnastics changed to require more strength & health (in many countries). Glad to see Rebecca Bross here. She gets left out in history & it was so awesome watching her. She moved so similar to Sean Johnson. I also miss seeing Kyla Ross in competition. ❤
I appreciate that you chose to include Nina Darwael in your top all arounders. I really wanted her to be able to clinch that bronze medal in 2018. She may not have the difficulty on floor but she has the elegance of a 60s-70s era floor worker. She also qualified for floor finals at worlds in 2019 (due to the two per country rule) but chose not to compete.
Morgan Hurd lost rhe m9st in terms if her gymnastics success from rhe pandemic. Had the 2020 Tokyo games gone ahead / no pandemic, she would def have been on the team and done very well. She was at her peak. Covid robbed her of what she worked for, far more than any other elite gymnast

Anything can happen….and it did, but it could’ve still panned out the way it did even if COVID hadn’t been a thing. 🤷🏻♀️
