If you have any other controller plugged in unplug it
You have to unmap everythinf from yhe controllers function except the handbrake

Unfortunately, my G923 wheel doesn't even show up on the CONTROLS menu page so the LEFT and RIGHT has NOTHING for me to calibrate! I need help please!
if on pc u need ghub first. make sure usb and power supply are plugged in
@@TURBOMOOSE Yes I have ghub and it's already loaded onto my pc. On the CONNECTED DEVICES menu when I turn my steering when I get a GREEN ACTIVE Button also. But when I go to CONTROLS menu my LEFT and RIGHT are all BLANK. Nothing to Calibrate.
Oh... I figured it out now. Go to CONTROLS... LEFT.. ASSIGN.. then turn your steering wheel to the LEFT. Now you will get the CALIBRATE button. Now follow the instructions to calibrate your steering wheel.

my wheel doesnt even pop up on the devices, like if the pc isnt reading it or the game. but i plug it in and out and the wheel calibrates like normal(going left, then right, then center) what should i do?
Make sure you have the wheel driver installed for whatever wheel you are on. Then in game in connected devices make sure you have it connected, itll show green or a check mark and aay the name of the wheel. Once that is done you need to calibrate and map every input
Hey turbo moose with the force feedback being high it's kinda clunky and it "grinds" whenever I turn it, how do I make my g920 smooth and have tight responses/quick wheel rotation speed
With different car setups the ffb can feel stronger or weaker. I'd try increasing the smoothing and slightly lowering the ffb in the wheel settings. It's hard balance between everything. My settings aren't set in stone but to be just as a base.

The base game. Not ptr. If you're on console, check all your connections to the wheel and make sure you follow the guide correctly.

I've got a question you may get alot. So for starters I'm super new to not only the game but to Sim driving wheels. I started with controller on ps4 got pretty good, so i deaided to get the G29, no shift or hand break. No biggie I thought. Turned off steering assist, I CANT DRIVE AT ALL. ITS NIGHT AND DAY. QUESTION-How do I keep the car from spinning out? Not at high speeds but ever? Put my foot on the gas just little and turn the wheel to Initiate my drift and spinny is the name of the game...none stop...please help.
Hey brotha dont get discouraged. You will need the shifter. Theres no handbrake for console but you can make one or use the paddles on the wheel once you get your shifter. I have a entire playlist dedicsted to beginners on wheels. Check it out
@TURBOMOOSE thank you..I figured I'd need a shifter...I'll order one this week. And a company just released a console compatible hand brake for ps4 that plugs into the wheel. There about 109$ on amazon
There is some. But most dont work correctly so just be careful if you do order one.
Hey there, i got a Problem. I have a Thrustmaster tx it shows in Controller Settings as Wheel and i also can calibrate it, but there is no FFB Check to set like in yours with the Button Y. And also when i calibrated, i can turn it ingame but its just reacting on the complete left or right turn, not in between. Hope you can help me, Thanks
In connected decices click on the wheel and set it up there. Everything you need is in this video, you might have some assist left on thats making it drive weird aswell.

is there a way to change type of input on a divice ?, the game thinks my simucube 2 pro is a controller
So to my understanding the simucube isn't fully supported just yet
You might be able to fool it by using vjoy or some other type of ffb emulator software.

Follow the guide here and then the rest is in the tune and technique. Alot.of seat time and patience is required.

Make sure everything's is plugged in and have your inputs mapped. After that it's all on the guide

Check your rotation and make sure you Calibrated correctly. And make sure your playing with Assist off. With Assist on its very very weird

Hey I’m having trouble with my new steering wheel with my brake and gas. My gas is working as a brake and my brake as a gas how can I fix that ?
Map it in Game.
when I try to assign the pedals I am getting error like I am trying to attach the same pedal for gas and brake but I am not. So the car is moving but it's not stopping and the opposite if I try to assign the brake first. The error is: Button is binded to accelerator, please rebind.
@D1Shaike unassign/delete the function. And then assign them individually as shown in the video with how to assign inputs

Make sure you're clicking on the name of the wheel and then clicking the input then clicking calibration
Make sure you assigned the input first if you havent already

When it's plugged in the game should read all your connected devices.

@Cornelius Hornswoggle if on pc you need to have all the drivers installed. And if not check all your connections and make sure its good. The. Restart your console but don't touch or turn on a controller. Only use the wheel and then navigate with that and you'll be golden

how do you get the wheel connected to the game
I have a couple videos on it. Basically if on console. Exit game, turn off controller. Turn Wheel on and let it calibrate. You may need to sign in your profile with the wheel and then start the game. Make sure the wheel is the main device being used. If on pc, Make sure you have your drivers for the wheel downloaded and setup properly and then do as whats shown in the video
