Always thought this stitch would be very difficult. I am self taught and have no one around to ask questions. Your videos are easy to follow and crochet along. Thanks.
I just bought your aran blanket book. This has the just beautiful blankets in it. Thank you for this pattern book. One of the patterns says it uses a fishermen popcorn stitch. Is that just a popcorn stitch or no? I'm not sure. Thank you.
Thanks for your support Rachel! Here's a video for the popcorn stitch that I usually use in my designs: ruclips.net/video/oWLhV7hij4I/видео.html. As with all videos, please treat them as secondary to the written pattern since rows can often times start and end in a unique way.
If you have a pattern that calls for a 4 weight yarn and you want to use a 5 weight how many hook sizes do you need to ho down to acheive the correct gage?
Hi Deborah! That's an excellent question. It really all depends upon your personal crocheting style. You may also want to be careful about substituting a thicker yarn depending upon the design. You could end up with a much stiffer fabric than you intend.
@@BonnieBayCrochet Hello Bonnie, At Last !!!!! I've done the flowers section of the Tree of Life. AAs you said in the 7th video, " what a Challenge". I've used a mohair blue Yarn for the Trees and an Azteca Fine Lux, blue, green and grey for the flowers. The result is wonderful.
A very clear and understood tutorial!!! Thankyou Bonnie!!!
My pleasure Sandra!

I think the trickiest part may be returning to the original stitch count when working the last row. This is where many go astray!
Absolutely brilliant and so clear are your instructions. Thank you so much. Keep safe & be lucky💞💞💞
