I finally got my two Crimson alley vipers this week. Yeah I definitely noticed how different the plastic quality feels compared the orange/blue ones. Also mine has the crooked boot swivel, the 2nd figure's left boot swivel was stuck because the shin guard plastic seem to be melted into the leg piece like glue. So I heated it and cut off some of that excess plastic just to finally loosen it. I still prefer the crimson and black color scheme, what I don't like are the degrading gummy issues.

I still like the orange and blue Alley Vipers. It's completely nuts, but stands out a treat. These new black and red ones look great too. Even more variety to the Cobra ranks.
These look infinitely better than the orange version.
I just got one in the walmart discount isle for $18.73 here in Chattanooga. I wish they had more then one.
I'm loving the Crimson color scheme, it makes them look super intimidating. I've been getting a ton of Vipers, and want to get these Alley Vipers, but I've noticed that the hip joints on a few of mine are extra gummy, and one of the legs twisted off. I hope the classified team does away with the drop down hips and starts using much better materials.
I couldn't agree more, been saying that about drop downs since last year.
Agreed. The drop downs add barely any extra articulation and are prone to plastic stressing, and potentially snapping.

Same color scheme as the pursit of cobra alley vipers. This color scheme on them are way better than the neon goofy colors
Had the orange and blue Alley growing up, and like the new Classified version of it...but this color scheme just hits perfect and edges ahead.
If you take off the hand it easier to get the shield on the arm
Those 2 guns and the crossbow are the same weapons from Classified series Snake eyes and Timber.

I have the same issue with the shins but I heated it up and swapped them now they look correct. And for the vest Im cutting some sections that would allow for more bend for the torso
what did you swap you put the left on the right and the right on the left?

I didn't get an email from pulse saying that the crimson strike team was about to ship, is that just early for content creators or system wide?
System wide, Hasbro doesn’t do anything for content creators. Even the pulse site lists the release date as October 19

Awesome! Crimson this and crimson that! Crimson all, crimson with silver and black! ($e>< Pistols). I wasn't all that impressed with the original Range Viper in terms of articulation. The figure just wouldn't stand up right; especially when loaded out. I had to bend the knees and rock the feet forward to balance him out. That said, the color scheme of the Crimson Range Viper rocks! I can't wait to get him and the Crimson Strike Team. Although, I will get the Crimson Team before I ever get this Range Viper.
