Hai Evelyn... The top is beautiful, simple and elegant, lovely colour. You described very clearly. I am going to do one for my grand daughter. Thank you....
I just made this top for my teen daughter. I used Bernat Lattice and a 4mm hook. I had to figure out my own size adjustments, since the smallest size is an XS and she is usually an XXS or XXXS. I made the ribbing 48 rows, the top portion 32 or 33 rows (I can't remember which and she wanted it more cropped), the straps were 32 rows long and inset 9 stitches from the seam instead of 11. It turned out so very cute!!
Thanks for the pattern to this cute top, with multiple sizes available! I wanted to point out on your free written pattern that it says “ Length- 11.75(11.75, 12.25, 12.75, 13.25, 13.75, 14.25, 14.75, 13.25)” (not including strap length)” I’m thinking the last size should say 15.25? Just something that caught my eye! I am in the process of making this now and love how easy it is.
Hi,Rachel. I like you hook seems have a sharp tip looks like it is easy to insert into the chain. I have the Tulip hook the tip of the hooks is pretty round not as easy to insert to the chain and the stitch seem to slipped quite easily. Please tell me what brand of hook you use. Thanks.
Hi! I am 13 and I am very thin so I’m having trouble with the ribbing. In the pattern online it says “Rows 2-56” in the first panel’s ribbing, but the smallest part of my waist is 24.5 inches around (I’m cropping this pattern) so I only did around 37-40 rows (considering that it would widen from the main body and also that this only half of my body). I was wondering if that’s okay or if I should do as the pattern says. Thank you!
Also, my yarn is smaller than yours but the rows aren’t as close together as yours are. I did the math and I should have around 45 rows for each panel but I’m not sure that is right 😅

Question! Could I use Truboo instead of a blend? or do you need that cotton / bamboo blend for structure?
Thank you
Can i use any kind of weight #3 yarn
