This is not only the greatest punk rock song I have ever heard, it is one of the greatest songs period. Catchy, fun, poignant, relevant, critical. More timeless each year, sadly as nothing ever changes. This band gets not a shred of the recognition they deserve. NOFX are one of the greatest to ever roam the earth.

I heard this song when it first came out. Directly from Fat Wreck Chords. I received the CD in the mail thinking it was just a single. I was shocked when the CD player showed how long the song was. It blew my mind and changed my life. 24 years later, its getting harder and harder to listen to it without openly weeping. Its just devastating to me that all the things he sang about have only gotten worse. Great song though. I am seeing NOFX on their final tour stop in my area. They are playing the decline live. I have seen it live once before in 2007 ish. But glad you liked it and reacted to it.

Fat Mike will go down as one the greatest bassists and one of the greatest lyricists punk rock has ever seen. The fact that he's able to play those riffs and sing at the same time will never cease to amaze me, such a talented musician.

Its a girl power trio from Monterey Mexiko called the warning
And their concept album Queen of the murder scene, witch takes u on a journey through the mind of a character from love to obsession to madness.
The girls inspiration to the album is a lot from anime and manga.
