They're done with the PS5 version and PS5 pro version. I'm betting 1000 bucks that the issue is that trash Series S version. Series X will run it no issue but the S should've never even been a thing tbh. It's barely better than the one X

The informations given in this video are clear and acknowlegde actual issues we currently have. Please give us such updates more frequently as the lack of relevant info has been one of the game's killers for years on console (let this man speak more often). It's still a bit disappointing to have to wait 7 months for next gen, but (assuming THIS time the deadline will be respected) at least we have an idea where the port development stands. This SHOULD have been explained in the last calpheon ball and even more in the last heidel ball.
By the way, it is way too late for giving us the debo accessories change option. With karazhad accesories, any other accessory becomes useless. As such, its great to have the debo rings in the game now, but no one will ever have a use for it.
Overall it is nice to see better communication on your part PA for console (you need to keep doing that), but those changes won't bring back console. PVP is still a huge issue right now. It might keeps us going until the port.
Imagine the lack of support and communication in the game: boosted XP events and a few new accessories are added, and suddenly everyone is ecstatic. This is what happens when neglect is so severe that players are thrilled by even the bare minimum. Meanwhile, the console version feels abandoned, with most players migrating to T&L. It’s sad, really. Black Desert Online hands down has the best combat system but suffers from some of the worst content support.

All right, but most of us are only coming back when the next gen version is already launched... too many times we had been fooled with empty promises and delayed schedules.
I remember when you only got buffs like this for a week...now you get all of this daily and continuously for the better part of 3 months. Sucks not to be able to take advantage of this...but glad for the people thats still playing and can.

Why tf is there so many people saying "this isnt exactly what we were hoping for" kind of things. They literally tould us last ball that we would be getting NEWS about next gen this winter. So thats exactly what we got. Like jesus, there is NOTHING else you should have been wanting to hear in this video. Next gen is THE THING the game on console needs.
What benefits do the next gen update include?
new question so with this potential not really official maybe March release which is years too late. Wondering if next gen will allow PC match making/group play. We won't have the player base to do any new stuff. AOS would be great if we could all play together. Waiting until the console community is gutted (many leaving for PC version and other games).
These new updates are going to struggle to get attention when PA doesnt advertise. Hoping next gen comes, but idk what kind of player base it will come to. Our numbers are so much smaller than they were 2-3 years ago. The massive shrink is due to mismanagement for console. Hope good things happen, guess we gotta wait and see.

First of all, console players want performance increase and stability… who is asking for content if the fundamentals aren’t solid!
And drop the old gen consoles support, you are apologizing for beeing so late for current gen version and still saying last gen can‘t handle etc. but want to improve the game experience is so contradictory!
Take the feedback of smart people instead of addicted non-gamers🤦🏽♂️

Why are we still calling it “next-gen”? The “next-gen” consoles have been out for nearly half a decade now. They are, by definition, “current-gen.”
That being said, it seems to me they are prepping console to be cross platform with PC. Having all those benefits active for so long indicates to me they are trying to catch up their console player base to their pc player base.
This is interesting really enjoy communication this is amazing. We cannot get any of the materials nearly as easily as PC can. PC has access to Dehkia spots which makes BMC grinding, and magical shard farming more efficient. Are you going to address this piece also? I see the login boxes maybe thats enough we will see.

Yes base PS5 will always be first. The PS5 pro enhanced version will just have more features with pssr etc so will look and run better.

Definitely the best thing this game has done in nearly 4yrs was releasing this video but honestly it’s way too late and was long overdue, addressing the state of console should’ve happened years ago. Sadly you’ve lost a lot of players and the direction of the game really takes away from the experience we once had. So while I might play a little between updates, I still won’t be supporting this game financially unless dr/eva changes are reverted along with skill hit changes for some classes like shai where their skill paths have discrepancies in damage.

This was a great step in the right direction. Don't listen to those people saying its too late for this kind of thing because some of the newer games that just released like throne and liberty. These games are getting a little dry already with the lack of pve content and the pvp isn’t great. Bdo has a lot more to offer. Just keep communicating and keep listening to your player base and everything will be just fine.

I genuinely thought the devs were never gonna address console players this seems like a pretty big W for the community, hope once the next gen update comes they will still continue to communicate with us and honestly if that update does come and doesn’t improve optimisation much I’m

The first half of 2025.... its over for BDO console.
They spoiling us. We finally get the other shakatu events that PC been had as well as the life skill hot time and the mount/training hot time with the Thanksgiving event. Thankful for the communication and the rewards in the meantime.
Idk how we play on next gen consoles but yet they can’t due to physical limitations? The PS5 and XBOX X/S weren’t expensive for no reason!
And they expect us to believe they are getting it ready for PS5 Pro 🤦🏿♀️ make it make sense man. Idk if XBOX put out a pro version but if they did, hopefully it changed more features and comes with more than what PS is doing to us with the 5 Pro.
Here’s hoping all game studios and developers can finally release games and ports for consoles that work with these newer machines. Either that, go back to the old days. PS games stayed on PS, same for Xbox, and the generic console games got a port and PC stayed on PC. We did not spend our hard earned money on these consoles just to be played with..especially when these major games are already dropping expensive af.
Also a lot of sexual predators on the console side with un denying evidence that the supports team just ignored… wonder why?
