In terms of intensity, 100%, but in terms of story, it wouldn’t work out I think. Having Joker as the main antagonist and him leading the Blackgate jailbreak which leads to the whole showdown with Bane was pretty necessary to develop Joker and Batman’s background whereas Deathstroke’s just kind of a neutral vigiliante if that makes sense.

Great video. Recently finished Origins and was curious what other people thought about the bosses. Imo the best in the series (besides Mr. Freeze in Arkham City).
@Carbonated soda Jack here, and yeah, nostaliga bias definitely helps a game here and there. Personally, I played Origins last of the four and I actually think City has better bosses to each their own so very understandable take.
@@Cytonox I think that City has some cool bosses, but collectively, there isn’t a ton to write home about. We all know Deadshot sucks, Mad Hatter isn’t much better, and despite being the best combat sequence in the game, Joker is just that: a combat sequence. Solomon Grundy is pretty good, but quick firing explosive gel feels super clunky in every game but Knight, so having that be the mechanic drags the fight down a bit. Clayface is pretty good, but sometimes his AI is far too predictable, and fighting him once you notice that makes it feel less like a fight and more like a scripted sequence. The second phase is just normal combat but with a sword and the occasional pop up of Clayface. Mr. Freeze is pretty much universally agreed to be the best boss in the series, so I won’t waste any time there. Ra’s al Ghul is mostly just basic combat but with ninjas and then dodging some very easily telegraphed moves. It’s pretty good though. Origins has a handful of not good bosses too. Most notably (or most unremarkable, rather) Bird, Anarky, and Black Mask, who are all just basic thugs joining a fight with their boys. But in terms of the rest, we’ve got a pretty solid selection. Killer Croc is serviceable as a tutorial boss, not much else to say. Shiva is also not very good, but I separated her from the other thug fights since she at least uses rarely encountered enemies like sword ninjas. Pretty much a watered down Ra’s al Ghul. Copperhead isn’t super hard on your first play through, but she actually becomes one of the harder bosses on NG+ and IATN because her animations are so vastly different from any other enemy. You have to be careful since you can’t easily tell whether you need to counter, blade dodge, or evade. Other than that, she’s not too great, but again, she’s serviceable. Past this group though, the rest are almost all excellent or at least very good. Firefly is great for both the spectacle and the actual fight. Bane on the rooftop is a pretty good fight, but TN-1 Bane is probably the closest the series has ever gotten to horror as the clock is ticking and he slowly whittles down your resources. A true successor to Mr. Freeze. Deadshot is also a very unique predator encounter with his ability to scope off walls, and would be the best predator fight if Freeze and Bane didn’t exist. And then there’s Deathstroke, the best combat boss in the series. Overall, I’d say Origins has the better roster of bosses, with City following it closely, with Asylum trailing far behind and Knight just… sort of existing.

In phase 2 I am pretty sure you are supposed to use the ice to take out the goons and use the walls and remaining vents for takedowns. Yeah bro. I (Jack) don’t know if there are any specifics (i.e. NG+ or I Am The Night only, or even Hard, Normal, or Easy) but I know for a fact that there is an achievement unlocked for a perfect fight with Deathstroke. Honestly it’s not too bad on Normal and I almost did it as I said in the video, the real pain is the challenge map medals. Screw those yo. And in Origins just overall the multiplayer is dead so a good chunk of achievements are impossible anyways. Good luck on your journey though!
I think I'm starting to appreciate not getting the cold cold heart dlc for Arkham origins cause that boss fight with mr freeze looks so unfair and cruel to the player.
Nah, honestly neither freeze phase is hard, a little annoying having to dodge the ice-ray in the first phase but the second phase is quite reminiscent of the fight i city. If you only use one method of attacking him, instead of a mix between all of them, then I can understand not liking it, but it's kinda a user error then. Also the story makes sense if you pay attention to what people say :)
Have you even try to make different takedowns on mr. freeze ? Guess what yes you can make those fun takedowns, research on RUclips all takedowns on mr. freeze in Arkham origins dlc you’ll be surprised about it.
This list is fake news, we all know how hard the electrocutioner boss fight was, put all our combat and predator skills to the test and this vid edits it all out.
I can’t say for certain about the boss, but I heard that the freeze dlc is actually really good I’m not entirely sure since I never played it, but I heard it’s one of the best dlcs in Arkham, alongside Harley Quinn’s revenge. So seeing it in last really confused me. Conflicting points I guess Also, bugginess in the fight might have been because origins overall was VERY unfinished I never played, so I guess I can’t really speak for myself
What the hell is with Killer Croc being so high? The boss sucked lmfao like it was really really bad. Deathstroke is probably the best in this game but far from the best in the series. Like, for real bro. He has. 3 attacks. THREE. How does a boss with THREE attacks deserve the win over Asylum's Scarecrow for example? And how do you literally not address it? And Deadshot here was really bad - like he was just as bad as he was in City. Maybe a little bit better but idk man the City one was super short but at least it felt real. The one in Origins is literally just Two Face/Harley, there is no difference(the laser sight is not a difference. He never, and I mean NEVER, catcher me with that. All my deaths and sightings were to the goons, the AI just sucks) EDIT Mr Freeze here is the same as he was in City but with less takedown variety. He deserves way higher
Yea it does right now I'm using ps now but I was thinking of getting an xbox 360 first but in my country it's big price so I got a ps4 but not all games work like arkham orgins I feel like when I get it ill keep it on top list and the last boss fight was nice when ur enemy is bane as a titan it's like he gained more size but it feels like he's the same size of arkham aslyum but he's better now he has classic outfit same for the others bane would be insane but I'm confused when you fight the boss it's like he's there 4 times I tought they could add diffrent bosses in some of the parts but bane was there 4 times a little bit a bummer but he was a great boss fight
Yea I saw 1 controller like that before it looks nice but I am a player who likes to play ps4 controllers but I would love to try 1 of those controllers
I (Alex) never played it either, but based on what I've heard from Jack you aren't missing out on much. The seasons of infamy dlc for knight was good though, so I'd get that if you're looking for more stuff to do with the Arkham games.
Jack here, you aren't missing a whole lot. It's two hours long and has a couple boring "side missions" where you find anarky tags and unfreeze 20 random citizens. The boss fight stinks and the story is basically an exact replica of "Heart of Ice" (season 1, episode 4 on HBO Max) of Batman: The Animated Series. Heads up the 20 minute episode was better, more engaging, and more enjoyable than the 2 hour DLC, so yeah long story short save your money and get Season of Infamy or something and also thanks for watching!
Ayo did you just say that the mr freeze dlc sucks? Did you just have an opinion that happens to be different than mine? How dare you have an opinion, I can’t believe this. I’m now going to unsubscribe from this channel I enjoy watching because of this extremely dumb reason.
deathstroke still is the best boss, its a shame a real shame, becuase arkham knight did him dirty heck arkham knight did the whole arkham series dirty, their wasnt a unique boss fight anywhere, it was so lazy, in the main story, you fight no one, all other bosses you have to grind to fight and they amount to crap, heck the hush boss fight was a bloody cutscene, what happened to doing the main mission and stumbling on the bosses, for example, your just minding your own business in arkham city and then all of a sudden you get thrown down the rabit hole, arkham knight was basically fight this group of enemies, then fight that tank, then rinse and repeat i was so happy when the batmobile was destroyed only to have my soul crushed when not 5 minutes later it respawned.
The commentary feels like you took the voice of Rusty and the inflections of early Demodcracy. Not that that’s a bad thing I just thought it was funny.
The cinematography for the deathstroke fight is amazing but I think the fight overall is very overrated It's fun as hell but it's just filled with quick time events and it just isn't that hard

Just keep runnin to the side lol
Misses you by an inch
Wait, achievement that entails a perfect fight with Deathstroke? I should’ve looked into this before committing to achievement hunting
@@Cytonox thanks man, keep up the good work 👍🏽
same to you, good luck!
How did you put electricutioner so low? It took me years to beat him but one day I got Lucky and beat him in one hit.
damn, when i was younger,i died 9 times to slade and won with little health left lol. defenetely the best boss fight
Mr freeze was a top 5 boss fight, and electrocutioner had a better fight then shiva, change my mind
You can go behind him to take him down just like Arkham city
I once beat Deathstroke, Lady Shiva, and T-N1 Bane without getting hit
Deathstroke fr got nerfed into arkham knight
Will you play returnal? I think that you will like the Hyperion fight, it's perfect
Maybe eventually, I’m literally broke and can’t buy new games atm so I won’t be picking up anything new for a bit
I got that achievment for deathstroke by accident 😅
He is the best in Batmans early years but worse when batmans bout to last years he should have upgraded not degraded thats BS
0:30 metal fists,glass jaw
Lol Mr. Freeze has both the worst and best boss fights in the series lol
Have you even try to make different takedowns on mr. freeze ? Guess what yes you can make those fun takedowns, research on RUclips all takedowns on mr. freeze in Arkham origins dlc you’ll be surprised about it.
Personal fav game of the series
I was stuck on deathstroke for years. I played on will u and I never beat him
This game has the best bosses imo
Icicles are not the only way to hurt freeze
We all know the electrocutioner is easily the best worst list ever.
Im kidding i love it good job
Why is youe gameplay’s controller layout is using switch controller??
TN-1 bane is my favourite fight
This list is fake news, we all know how hard the electrocutioner boss fight was, put all our combat and predator skills to the test and this vid edits it all out.
😂
I can’t say for certain about the boss, but I heard that the freeze dlc is actually really good
I’m not entirely sure since I never played it, but I heard it’s one of the best dlcs in Arkham, alongside Harley Quinn’s revenge. So seeing it in last really confused me. Conflicting points I guess
Also, bugginess in the fight might have been because origins overall was VERY unfinished
I never played, so I guess I can’t really speak for myself
Number 12 is a really good boss what the heck plus it's a really good dlc
imo arkham origins has the best bossfights, but city has my favorite one
Our thoughts too, Mr. Freeze is in a league of his own surely.
Origin treated Deathstroke better than Arkham knight
he had an actual presence
Does Joker really not count in this game?
Well Joker is less the Joker and more the second Bane fight, there’s no distinct fight with the Joker himself rather varying bits of combat.
Why not include Joker if you’re gonna include Electrocutioner. Or Shiva in the DLC challenge maps?
All my deaths and sightings were to the goons, the AI just sucks)
EDIT
Mr Freeze here is the same as he was in City but with less takedown variety. He deserves way higher
Man I love bane in this game and yea I love arkham orgins to but couldn't play it didn't came to ps4
I think the PS3 disc version works, and yeah also TN-1 Bane kicks ass.
And while ur fighting killer croc and firefly I never saw those buttons on the screen I wonder what did you use?
I play Xbox, so the buttons don’t appear on screen rather it’s Y to counter and X to hit.
Yea I saw 1 controller like that before it looks nice but I am a player who likes to play ps4 controllers but I would love to try 1 of those controllers
Ya’ll rockin with human rights ⁉️
Ofc not 😏
That's funny since I'm learning about Human Rights for World Studies right now
This game has the best bosses in the series IMO.
deathstroke is definitely the top dog in the arkhamverse to hell with batman.
Bro I never got to play the dlc
How was electrocutioner ranked worst? He took me 39477383848 tries 😂 😂 😂 😂
Ayo did you just say that the mr freeze dlc sucks? Did you just have an opinion that happens to be different than mine? How dare you have an opinion, I can’t believe this. I’m now going to unsubscribe from this channel I enjoy watching because of this extremely dumb reason.
deathstroke still is the best boss, its a shame a real shame, becuase arkham knight did him dirty heck arkham knight did the whole arkham series dirty, their wasnt a unique boss fight anywhere, it was so lazy, in the main story, you fight no one, all other bosses you have to grind to fight and they amount to crap, heck the hush boss fight was a bloody cutscene, what happened to doing the main mission and stumbling on the bosses, for example, your just minding your own business in arkham city and then all of a sudden you get thrown down the rabit hole, arkham knight was basically fight this group of enemies, then fight that tank, then rinse and repeat i was so happy when the batmobile was destroyed only to have my soul crushed when not 5 minutes later it respawned.
wheres the mad hatter fight ????
Not much of a fight, really just a platforming bit.
The commentary feels like you took the voice of Rusty and the inflections of early Demodcracy. Not that that’s a bad thing I just thought it was funny.
My only gripe with origins is how ugly croc looks. Knight did his design so right . Scary looking and big as hell
yeah, the domey head is a bad look
@@Cytonox I have to say despite the complaints some have for Arkham knight it had the best villian designs in my opinion
You spelled electrocutioner wrong
The cinematography for the deathstroke fight is amazing but I think the fight overall is very overrated It's fun as hell but it's just filled with quick time events and it just isn't that hard
Deathstroke boss is repetitive
It's 'tetralogy', not 'quadrilogy'. The latter is a mixing of Latin and Greek.
I'd put Bane at Number 1
are you playing on switch???
bru
PS5
I feel like anarky makes up I’m dialogue
Jack here, fair take I just personally think the fight still sucks. Also pretty generic political mumbo jumbo but the voice actor did a solid number
@@Cytonox anarky was criminally underused in the Arkham franchise. He had two references in Arkham night but that’s about it. He definitely should’ve been a bigger part
i think he sorta served his purpose honestly, there’s not really a lot to him other than he’s a radical activist with bombs. In the comics and in the game.
Hate to be that guy. But it’s tetralogy, not quadrilogy.
I knew this from the Zelda games cuz there’s a theory about there being a “Tetraforce”, but for some reason missed this while proofreading with Jack at the time. I think it just sounded right and we figured people would know what we meant so it didn’t see off any alarm bells
-Alex
Electrocutioner boss battle was the best you bunch of liars.😏
