Which insurance is better? You tell us. One insurance does not fit all! We believe travel insurance needs to be TAILORED to your own needs. Not everyone needs insurance that covers hiking to 5400m, for example. How can we recommend one specific insurance? What's best for us might not be the best option for you.
If you can't afford travel insurance, you can't afford to travel. Nobody likes to pay for insurance policies but you never know when you'll need it. Trust us, if you ever need insurance, you'll be glad to have it.
Why are we reviewing travel insurance? Because we will be travelling from Portugal to Australia, crossing Europe and Asia, without taking any flights (hopefully). A journey that will take around 3 to 4 years, according to plan.

They don’t make sense there secondary, so you have to pay upfront first and hope to get reimbursed when you get home because you primary insurance at home doesn’t cover you out of the country and these insurance companies know this, they want you to jump through hoops and get frustrated and give up. How are you suppose to pay up upfront when you don’t have that kind of money when your on vacation unless you get the very expensive insurance sucks! Went through this with a ear infection in Thailand
