Just started looking into this as someone spending 9 months of the year away from my home country, your video was extremely helpful and concise in pointing me in the right direction for further analysis, so thanks for that. Trying to evaluate whether it's better to have a domestic full year policy in my main overseas country and add on a Nomad policy for trips to a secondary country or go for the full Nomad type policy option. At aged 58 I've got to be wary I don't age myself out of starting a primary residence country policy which seem to cut off at 60.

Hi Robin, thank you so much for the kind words! When deciding on your insurance strategy, you might want to look into what kind of residency status is required to get a domestic full year policy in your main overseas country, there might be also some exclusions if you are away from the country for too long, hope this helps!

Awesome video! I am planning on starting my digital nomad lifestyle next week and I was wondering knowing all the knowledge you have about the different nomad visas, if you had to pick one again would you still go with Safety Wing again?
This is the main one I am considering at the moment.
    Thank you!

Thanks for the comment! Different countries may require specific requirements for qualified health insurances, which could be a local one, better to consult the target country about the qualified providers:)

Insurance sounds wonderful when you read what they provided. But please read the policy....completely. This policy requires mandatory arbitration (there is an opt out provision) in the state of Texas. This means if you have a claim that they do not want to pay you have to travel to Texas to arbitrate. Even more onerous is the law on Bermuda is the governing law. This policy is great if they pay and bad if they don't.

i assume all your policies stop at 65-70… no mention of top age

Thanks for the comment. Not necessarily, SafetyWing insures up to 70, but for example Insured Nomads even provides coverage for age 80 or older.
