I am happy that you're my the first thing that popped up when I went looking for beginner resources. You got me to my first arena 12 win back in the day and your insights in POE helped me reach mapping endgame there at the time. Thanks for being a consistent fixture in the sphere, Kripp. It's good to see you again.

I feel like a "key card per architype" guide would be super useful. Like what cards should make me pivot? What cards should put me in an archetype if I see it early? What is always a snap pick?
Love to see you being so excited about the game - really am happy that an industry outsider like Reynad was able to achieve what you proclaim. I have to say: The UI is bad. Significantly so. It could've used 3D (a diagonal slope between you and your opponents for example), way more contrast (emphasizing the game boards over the background) , shadows, could look less cluttered. I don't know to what degree it might've been a PsyOp and to what degree it might've simply been because they've gotten used to it by looking at it everyday (and thus lost an eye for it), but I'd recommend reworking it.
This game seems so sick! I love hearthstone battlegrounds, but this seems like it takes everything good about bgs, expands upon it, adds NEW cool aspects, and takes away all the bad things about it! It'll be a big learning curve for sure, but I gotta give this a try!

Hey, great video i can't wait for it to come out. But i have a few question, what are the minimum requirements for the system to run the game ? And it's gonna be like Autopets that you play versus random Online or Offline enemy ?
I don't know this looks like a glorified Backpack Battles which I loved but I don't see this is any different or better than other asynchronous games already in the market. I'll try it out when it releases.
The game seems interesting. I really liked HS Battlegrounds so I will give this a try when it's released. I don't like the UI though. The art style is fine but it seems very busy, way too much visual noise. Maybe it's fine when you get used it.
There is no run to run character advancement. Casual runs don't give anything, but if you get 10 wins in casual you get a ranked ticket. Ranked can only be entered with tickets, but ranked gives rewards based on how many wins you get. The rewards are cosmetics and stuff, but you'll get gems that you can use to buy more heroes / card packs or of course cosmetics.
Important to note that card packs are not random gatcha like a normal card game. There only 10 cards added to each class each season. 1 card pack unlocks all 10. So it ideally would be completely reasonable to grind a complete card collection every expansion and since any cosmetics that you earn are tradable to other players for in game currency it ideally should also be reasonable to unlock all new heroes for free. As to not associate it with TCG like HS where it is pretty much impossible to get a complete card set without spending 1000's on card packs. Assuming the economy works as Reynad intended there would be no reason to pay real world money for any gameplay related unlockables unless you wanted to keep your cosmetics items or you didn't grind enough.
@@Pinko-Diamond the fact that you permanently unlock the 10 cards from 1 pack is insane. Even if it's expensive in-game currency you do not rely on chance you just grind the in-game currency and permanently unlock the content when the pack is released.
Kripp being Bazaar pro before the game even comes out is such a Kripp thing to do

Apparently krip has been terrorizing the dev team with his builds. Reynad seemed to have ptsd when telling Rarran about it.
Reyand did say "I'm acutally 50/50" when Rarran kept bringing it it up :)
Which doesn't make sense in a game like this, if you can force a specific build.
