Why are people hating on people that found them by their mainstream songs? Surely you should be happy that people have found the same band that you like. It makes no sense that you dislike people that like the same stuff that you do. Stop hating on people and just enjoy the music.

I just saw them play this song live last night... it was pure amazing! and when I see them in videos like this being practically nobody's... it makes me love them more
The way Dan's face scrunches up when he hits those certain notes is both adorable and something to compliment on. He and the others look like their having a hell of a time. It's one of the things I love about acoustic performances.
