That is one really nice model! The ME 262 is one of my favorites - on my 3rd RC model and working on my 4th a 1/4 scale. Too bad these aren’t available anymore!

"Einsteigklappe" means something that can be used to mount the plane, to be able to get inside. These are likely footrests, that can be used as steps. And "hier aufbucken" means support or jack up here

I like the fact that they put German lettering on it. It gives it a more authentic look.

That's a good one , I have the one with green and dark green standard camouflage pattern with yellow rings around the front of the jet intakes, I bought mine back in the 1990's, I wanted to order the Stuka but they sold out. I have a Hobby Boss 1/18 scale Focke Wulf 190 glue together kit that I'm going to start to build, I can get a pretty good camouflage paint scheme with my airbrush and they are fairly easy to build. I'll post a video in a month or two.
It is a good one for sure, just really fragile. I love the FW-190! I have the Merit 1:18 model. Would love to see it, when you post the video let me know.
@@MilitaryVehicleReviews That's for sure, the plastic is half as thin on the glue together models, I build a lot of the 1/48 scale glue together model aircraft and they are actually more complicated with more parts than most of the 1/18 scale Hobby Boos type kits.

OMG, I had to get out my oxygen bottle to catch my breath on this one. ( this might be close to the Japanese Zero as the # 1 model you have). The paint job is amazing, especially the weathering, cockpit is spot on The bombs are in correct spot however I don't believe it had drop tanks as its flight time was limited due to materials used for turbine blades, engines had to be changed out every 28 flight hours. Those might be rockets motors used to assist take off and preserve fuel to climb to altitude. Ironically it was a tail dragger in first flight test. The model molds may have been made from early variants of the 262 as the Germans did a lot of trials to see how they could maximize the jet concept. And the company might have got a tad confused on what to make however that doesn't matter, just build her " clean" and its out of this world awesome. One interesting bit of propaganda my father was a POW and they'd fly these low level over the camp to show that the Luftwaffe had the technology to win the war. Most of the POW's had been in long enough not to know about jets and wondered where the propellers were. I need to sign off and write a quick letter to Santa :-)

greetings from Chile. The Me 262 was the first jet aircraft to see combat and was shot down by the P 51 Mustang aircraft. with the squadron of the red tails. i would like to see a review of b17

This is such a nice model! I love love love the scheme on this one. I have 2 corgi 1:72 diecasts of the 262, I wonder if they make this scheme on one. I’ve actually also seen a 262. The museum I volunteer at now had a B model 2 seater till 2011 when it got moved unfortunately. I was 3 when that happened but I remember it being very shiny
I agree! Its just super fragile. There was one at a museum by my as well. One of the only ones still flying!

Nice model, but the bomb version had only 2 machineguns at the nose.
Beautiful plane. A marvel of its time. The Me262 makes me wish I was about 8 years old again. Out in the yard with my Gi-Joe action figures. It would have been so cool to have Cobra flying the 262 while GiJoe shoots his ass down with a P-51D. Ah to be 40 years ago with these toys. Lol

Can you do a A-10 THANDERBOLT review (FAN REQUEST)
Unfortunately, they did not make one in 1:18 scale. There was footage of one in production but it never got released. I may review a smaller A-10 warthog in Diecast by Hobby Master though.
the sticker “Schmiersto” is actually supposed to be “Schmierstoff”. It means lubricant (oil)
Where do I look for and find these models, including the model jets as well.
I find most of them on ebay now. Unfortunately the 1:18 scale manufacturers went out of business.
My 8 year old son is autistic and loves everything military. He turned me to your channel so it looks like eBay and spending a lot of money in my future.

the first jet actually came out around the start of ww2 and it was called the comet and did not have alot of fuel because it was more of a flying rocket and was manned
That was an airliner wasnt it? Crazy how much engineering went into aviation back then.
@@MilitaryVehicleReviews just so you know, if this guys talking about the "Komet" it was the me 162, and it wasn't a jet but a rocket powered bomber interceptor that occasionaly turned its pilots into human smoothies as it leaked rocket fuel onto them sometimes, the dehavilland comet which was the first airliner came out in 1949

The most beautiful aircraft ever manufactured. Messerschmitt me262 had some ignite busters at the end... Germany manufactured much more advanced, ingenious weapons during WW 2 . That's why both the US and Soviet Union have taken many German scientists and engineers to Russia and the states near the end of WW2. ( Operation paperclip, Operation Osoaviakhim)Einsteigl tappe: entry tap. Pretty good camouflage..looks more like a model than a toy.

No unfortunately. You can find them on Ebay. Thats where I got this one. Also search for 21st Century Toys version as well.

this was one of the deadliest planes of ww2....
Correction it was one of the most dangerous because it was so late in the war it didnt get many kills so the deadliest one goes to the bf 109

Well since the Me-262 was originally designed to be a bomber before Adolf Hitler redesigned to as a fighter/interceptor, I plan to display it whit the bombs on it lol
Yes, the Me-262 had 30-mm Cannons and yes, they were deadly to B-17 Bombers.
