Realistically if this was like Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 Earned in Blood or Hell's Highway, the idea would be to use the 4 Fs 1.) Find the enemy MG42 gunners in the windows 2.) Have a base of fire team get a fix on their position and Fix them with suppressing fire, preferably when the opportune moment presents itself such as while the gunners are reloading or changing out the barrel 3.) Have an assault team lead a Flanking maneuver around to get a Flank on their position (even if it's through the door on the lower level from the same side as the window MG the base of fire team should be suppressing it) and then 4). Finish the enemy off from an exposed flank. I liked how they used tactics to draw out the enemy sniper and flank across the upper levels in a similar manner in the latter half of the video.
I know Carentan really happened on 13 June.. I'm just saying the map layout and textures are identical to the multiplayer map of the first call of duty from 2003
That german MG 42 is firing non stop. Without any break. In reality the barrel would have been glowing red after 400 to 600 rounds without pause. But other than that - great stuff.
This is crazy. It’s Lego, reenacting band of brothers, using voice lines and sound effects from call of duty 1. I love it! Especially since a couple of the VAs from band of brothers voiced some of the lines in CoD 1.
In a magical way, you made toy figures emote human emotion. I was invested in the Airborne troopers survival all the way, flinching when they were shot. Well done. sir, well done
Some minor stuff to improve historical accuracy, US troops were trained to carry their weapons at Port Arms. This has the right hand holding the neck of the rifle with the left hand clutching the barrel slightly to the left of the bolt. The left hand is naturally held higher so that the rifle slants up. There is meant to be a fists distance from the rifle to the soldiers chest. They would use Port Arms even when advancing into combat unless actively firing or taking cover. German soldiers were trained to carry their weapons in way that the Brits call, At The Trail. The weapon is held at the balance point in the right hand. This allows for more comfortable carry and a quicker transition into and out of cover. The soldier will also typically bend over at the waist bringing their chest and head nearer the ground to present a smaller target. Finally, German Machine Guns ie MG34 and MG42 have high fire rates. These rates insure barrel overheating from sustained fire. So German Machine Gunners were trained to fire in 3-5 second bursts allowing several seconds for cooling, riflemen typically provide covering fire especially during this period. This process of short bursts creates the MG34-42’s unique sound, a high and short BRRT with a strong echo. Even with proper cooling, frequent barrel changes are necessary even in the middle of combat.
For any future videos German Fg-42s as used by Fallschrimjagers have small magazines and slower fire rates meaning that they were used in a way similar to US m1918 BARs. These weapons are meant to provide slower more aimed suppressing fire, firing only once or twice a second until the magazine runs out. The American heavy Machine Gun is the m1919 Browning which is more in the style of Maxim style weapons with a lower fire rate (about half that of the Mg42) being used for much slower and long term suppressive fire. They fire with a very distinctive “Chung Chung Chung”wherein you can hear the individual shots and cycling. They typically fire from a mounted tripod, but the smaller 30 cal version can technically be fired “from the hip”. The larger and more famous 50 cal is simply to heavy, so as to account for the massive recoil of the larger cartridge, which is quite frankly to much for a person to resist for any meaningful amount of time.
That might be the most berserk battle footage that I've seen since I was a kid, when Darren Cavanagh used grass clippings to simulate brain matter flying out of his head while we were playing Best Man Dead in my mate's back garden!! 😅😂 Loved how the squad leader whacked that framed photo out of the window (at 8.07)! 😅
Wanted to make a joke about stepping on lego’s... but wow... sobering... FANTASTICALLY DONE. Nothing to joke about.Somber first viewer to this ...series?
I've activated SUPER THANKS, so You can support me now!
It’s cool cool
Dino can I make a trailer out of this? I'll give you full credit. it's fine if I'm not allowed
Hpw long did it take to do this?

@@Dino5500 you’re welcome!

Actually, more accurately Call of Duty 2 map Carentan....
3:52 most relatable scene in any cod game that ever existed
Yeah, what player hasn't missed a window with a nade? 😄

This is how you put band of brothers into a call of duty.
More like band of brothers into day of defeat.
@@domingofung he says that because the sounds are from the first Call of Duty from early 2000s hehe
@@MikeGolf993 there is also sounds from day of defeat.

Finally! It looks incredible, the animation, camera shots and the town itself! I'm glad You've improve once again
Thank you :)
Why is it in every WWII movie there's a piano out in the middle of the street?
Probably becuase there was one random picture in some paper from ww2 that had that and now everyone does it.
It is what it is
Remember in urban combat during the World War II, there's no wall due to blasts from Allied bombing
Because that actually happened and this is also modeled off the Band of Brothers series.
For the dramatic entrance
I know the original COD Carentan MP map when I see it 😄 Great work!!
Sounds like OG Call of Duty too
It's a recreation of the band of brothers
It's based off an actually battle that happened during ww2...
I know Carentan really happened on 13 June.. I'm just saying the map layout and textures are identical to the multiplayer map of the first call of duty from 2003
This is indeed the map and sounds from OG Cod and from a scene from band of brothers. Carentan such a great map. OG Cod still best
Love how it’s not even stop motion, they just animated legos for the hell of it
This is literally one of the greatest videos I've ever seen. What a fun and wholesome way to honor our vets!
I miss the old stop motion animations but I’m glad to finally see more projects out now!!!
Thanks for your comment :) "Chris Animations" makes stop motion animations. They are amazing.
Band of Lego! ❤❤❤
😎👍Very cool and very greatly nicely spectacularly well done on your fabulous tribute to Band of Brothers indeed guys!👌.
this legit looks like a early to mid 2010s lego game i'd play in my childhood, amazing wook brother
This is literally so good. I thought this was going to be one of those stop motion films, but I was wrong.
Stop motion is superior
Stop motion is good, but this is also good
@@erinboateng5961 i disagree, it looks janky in my opinion
I Remember your videos they were a huge part of my childhood i'm glad you still do Lego battle animations by the way this looks fantastic!
Thank you!
Thanks!
I like the scene where they find civilians hiding in the basement. I'm always moved by that scene in Band of Brothers.
Thank you for your comment :)
It’s the best Lego movie in the world! 👍👍👍
Thanks
Halfway through this i realize im 38, unemployed, no job, no car, no friends, no lover and watching this at 3 in the afternoon. I hate my life.

No one make more realistic videos like you I love your videos❤❤❤❤
Захватывающий сюжет, главные герои хороши раскрыты, за героев переживаешь, каждый из них - личность. Графика лучше чем в Аватар 2
