Thank you! Yes, the clay was a tough decision for us to make, we do like the 100% LEGO aspects some other animators do, but it does drastically increase the difficulty of animating.
When you are a random stop motion maker and manage to made a video with Hollywood’s quality: Amazing job. The ambience at the beginning was simply mind blowing ! And the whole quality reach the top at my eyes
Never thought I'd see a Lego animation display the horror of war. The bravery of these Lego figures will not be forgotten. Especially at moments like 5:44 And 6:37
The U.S. also intended to use Okinawa as a launch pad for Operation Downfall which would have been the Allied Invasion of mainland Japan but it was canceled after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Soviet Invasion of Manchuria on August 9th,1945 . Also love that you added Desmond Doss in there the dude is a legend.
Well done! The historical accuracy is top notch! An interesting "factoid" was that Japanese intelligence was trying to predict if the U.S. would invade Okinawa or Formosa. The Japanese settled on Formosa (Taiwan) and moved the veteran 9th Infantry Division (which had just arrived from the Kwantung Army in Manchuria) from Okinawa to Formosa. An additional 15,000 Japanese troops plus all of the artillery and machine guns that equipped them would have added to the casualty counts for both sides and probably prolonged the campaign by another month or so. Excellent video!
Hope you're having a great day too! 😊 Just like Jesus' love, I’m spreading some fun with my stop-motion videos! I left you a like! Check them out; they might not be as polished, but I think you'll enjoy them! 🙌
Adding the clay as the ground was an awesome idea as you can shape it and make it look like bombs and shots have disturbed the ground without destroying the bricks. This was an amazing stopmotion! Amazing job!
I like how you made the naval guys wear the police officer uniform from Lego city and on top of that the stop motion itself was incredible and the voices were of the chart!
😎👍Very cool and very nicely spectaculary wonderfully well done as always as with all the others that you have done previously along the way and with this one as well, A very great fabulous job as always guys indeed!👌.
This was amazing, the animation was so seamless I can’t imagine how long that took. I loved the little nod to Desmond doss during the hacksaw ridge part
Your really good at this animation and the history good job of adding the medic that has no weapon because there is 1 medic that doen't want to hold a weapon 5:41
Hey! I love that you're mentioning Desmond Doss! His story of courage and compassion is truly inspiring. Just like him, I’m trying to create something special with my stop-motion videos. BRO this is outrageous, the quality is stunning. I can't even tell it's stop-motion. With multiple characters moving in one scene, background and foreground. Really good
Wow! This is the best Lego stop-motion movie I’ve ever seen! The sound, the animations, the models - everything is just perfect! Thank you very much for your work!
I am just wow, not at all complete loss for words, but inconceivably surprised by the profound production quality and how well made this is! Truly an “honor our veterans” and the “greatest generation” moment! I find it absolutely shocking that the Japanese officers that they would throw their lives away through a ridiculous ritual suicide instead of living to see another day. The Japanese were definitely absolutely brutal but their efforts were absolutely futile to break us. God bless our American heroes of WW2 for fighting for us and keeping an Axis enemy from our shores! Japanese soldiers had guts to charge at armed American soldiers with just a katana even though victory that way is mostly hopeless. Respect.
as a Japanese guy, this film is so impressive. you animated it so realistic. this is great. good job. and you pronounced japanese words very nicely at 7:40. I like it. landscape and sea was also super cool.
Omg that was the SMOOTHEST stopmotion I have ever seen like when the soldier threw his gun on the ground and I had a little kick back up. It was amazing great job 5 stars!
What a masterpiece! I especially love how the music perfectly fits the story, which is quite difficult to achieve. The animation and camera work are basically flawless. Amazing work!

Amazing animation, my great grandpa served on Okinawa, he was a navy sea-bee engineer, not sure how long the battle had been going when he was slated to go ashore but his landing craft got blown out of the water, he survived but was injured, he was given the choice to go home but was asked to stay cause he was one of the only ones who could operate the heavy equipment, he didn't like talking about the war, I only know this much cause he had to talk about some of it cause he was near constantly fighting the VA keep his benefits. He lived to be 96.
what an amazing stop motion. it almost looks like they are alive. keep up this content please. It gives me nostalgia to the 2010's lego stop motion era
From what my grandfather told me, it wasn’t the flames that killed them, it was the oxygen being instantly eaten up by the intense heat and flames, they were dead or dying by the time they caught alight. He said they would shoot up the bodies not necessarily out of anger or hate or mercy, but out of fear of not knowing if the writhing thrashing bodies were dying, or desperately trying to get closer to them to detonate a grenade or explosive strapped to their chests.
The quaility is incredible
