Powerful am still trying to quit
You can do it ! I’ve been sober 2 months not even desire anymore, long battle but Jesus took it from me . I’m very stubborn n it took a lot to hit bottom. I know this I’m ok in any situation now I’m at peace though life’s still tuff . I felt worse drunk don’t know why I held onto something I hated so long

Alcohol is the reason I've buried so many loved ones. 4 of my closest friends, a cousin and an Uncle. It almost stole MY life when my first love and the father of my 2 children died in a sudden car accident as a backseat passenger. I'm officially 2 years sober but have been fighting the darkness here lately, this song is on repeat reminding me why I got sober to begin with. Thanks Dax & all other artists on this track. Myself and so many others needed it

I have been back to drinking the last few weeks but these last two days this song is helping me realize Im depressed and going into a downward spiral i have cried for 2 days listening to this song every word I can relate too.

My father was a bad alcoholic and I think that's why he drank so much because he couldn't live with his past or even his present he had been gone almost 19 years now he died sober 3 months

You've got this! I'm going on 6 months sober next week. It's the longest I've ever stayed sober.
I listen to this song daily as a sort of affirmation.
U can do it.. its worth it, i promise..I just celebrated 2 years March 1st and I never thought I would be able to do it but by the grace of God im here and sober. Find sober support from AA/NA, Church group, family or friends. We as addicts and alcoholics can't do it alone and be honest with someone you can trust if u feel like drinking or drugging. Were only as sick as our secrets and telling someone u need help or if ur thinking about drinking or whatever yhat support can help you and whatever you do don't pick up that first drink/drug. If I can do it anyone can. Just take it one day at a time or even one moment at a time. Formee when I quit this time I found sober friends and stayed around my family and I didn't give up and I still won't. I've done AA in the past and it didn't work for me but I started going to a wonderful church and that support from my church, friends, and family helped so again don't give up. U got this, God's got you and your worth it..❤
