Question dear I just started rebinding bibles on the side I’m a welder and equipment operator so this is a 180 in hobbies for me ha, but I did learn the hard way that the PVA glue I used on real leather DOES NOT stick to the faux leather for example when I tried to fold it over onto itself to round and pleat corners .. and I hate to use cement and super glue because I can’t “maneuver” it really once stuck .. what kind of glue is this that the BLACK FAUX sticks to what seems to be another vinyl or non porous notebook on the first one you did ? I’d appreciate the heck outta any feedback haha thanks again !!
Was looking up faux leather projects and found your channel. Cute idea. I am a barbarian cracked me up lol - no you aren’t lol. Art glitter glue is the best. TFS
Where did you buy the corner trimmer, every one of them that I buy, don't cut well. I'm looking for a good corner cutter, so that I don't have to cut them on my Cricut
Hi , I accidentally brought self adhesive faux leather, this is the first time I brought faux leather so I just looked at the size and pattern, so I am looking for inspiration of what to do with self adhesive faux leather .
Luckily no, but if you wanted to, you can use something to help distribute the pressure. Maybe place flat plastic on both sides of the faux leather and then clothespin. If the notebooks were thicker, I imagine it may leave marks without something to help distribute the pressure
Hi, fellow creative barbarian haha! Thanks for sharing this. I just want to ask if I want to paint something on the leather, can I use acrylic paint? I haven't worked with faux leather before. :) Thank you!
Cool video, however, we should all take note on the fact Walmart isn't a manufacturing company. Walmart is, for the most part, a distribution and retail superpower. With that said, walmart can choke on its own waste!
Thanks for an A#1 tutorial. Simple and easy with great results.
This is a great video! I wish you would do more videos. I pray all is well with you and your family.
I made two of these today after watching this video, so thank you! Simple and easy!

I have a lot of handmade paper. And faux leather pieces my aunt gave me. I've been wanting to make and cover journal's.

Where did you get your corner cutter from?
Hobby lobby. That store is great! It is just a paper corner cutter.
I think I bought the wrong type of material what else can you do with faux leather
You can make cute hair bows, cut them into shapes and glue them on picture frames, make small pouches....so many options!!!
Cricut can cut that pattern. That's for people who have one or a cutting machine.
Great video, I enjoy doing this. Where did you purchase your glue? Seems better than modge podge. Lol!
Art glitter glue - Amazon. I got the larger container and it lasts forever!!!!
Crafty Kerstin Thank You!!:)
