I love that word...fluido....my Spanish ..no es fluido! I will definitely use that. I was looking for something the descibed my level. Saying, poquito or no bueno did not accurately describe my level. Muchisimas gracias !

Hi......español....... in Spanish the names for languages are not written with a first capital letter, unless of course it's the beginning of the sentence.
Hola Maura, como te va y gracias por las lecciones. Como eres del Caribe, ¿se usa o se entiende “que lo que” en México u otros países que habla español además de la República Dominicana? ¿O al menos se entiende la expresión en lugar de decir “que tal” todo el tiempo? Muchísimas gracias y tengas un buen día!
Not only are you very beautiful you are very talented I got to Cuba in January for 4 months and i am learning Spanish and I love the language Marcel soy de Nueva Escocia Canada Gracias
No hables mas lento por favor. You speaking slower is bad for the following reasons: 1) it alters pronunciation 2) it doesn't train our ear correctly 3) it doesn't prepare us for the real world. Of course we'll have to ask native speakers to slow down, but that's because we won't have pause buttons with nice subtitles below what they're saying. My suggestion to my fellow viewers/learners is to do as I do. Rather than listen/watch once, I take advantage by pausing the video, writing down both the Spanish and English of what you say, then replay while listening to you speaking en Español and try to piece together what you say, using my cards as reference. Before it was too difficult to follow along listening and trying to read the screen. I hope this is understandable and helpful to others, as it is to me. Next, I love and appreciate the extra effort of your instruction and "role-play." The care with which you give to wardrobe choices, background, lighting, make-up, and character development (voice and mannerism) is above and beyond and shows how serious and committed you are to your craft. Lastly, your "curious cat" remark at 2:05 and "CHUNK ALERT" cracked me up. When I was a kid in the 1970s, before you existed, people typically reference others using the term "cat." And your Chunk Alert will eventually be my phone's ring tone. As always, profesora Maura, eres la mejor y estoy a la disposición!
I have no words. Everything you said was beyond useful and kind. I really appreciate you taking the time to type it down and you sharing anecdotes from the 70s warmed my heart like nothing else! Thanks you so, so, so much! YOU are the best! Igualmente, estoy a la disposición =)=)=)
@@MauraSpringSpanish Él es correcto. Necesitamos escucharlo a velocidad natural, o tal vez solo un poco más lentamente. We have the ability here to stop, pause, and rewind, as well as the ability to slow down the video. Tu tiempo is perfecto! :)
Lucky I say no hablo Español, if you have a language barrier issue it's incumbent upon you to find means to communicate, everyone else isn't going to learn 15 phrases to say in the rare event this occurs. Minimally you have a phone, use it's translation potential, ChatGPT, etc. Additionally, they have apps that will translate speech in real time, so I'll be honest unless they are dedicated to learning Spanish, I don't see anyone conforming to such
But if you learn several phrases to say you don't speak Spanish, you're a bit of a liar And if you're going to learn 15 phrases to say you don't speak Spanish, you may as well learn Spanish lol
I can understand a lot of beginner’s Spanish when it’s written down in front of me. But if I have to write or say it, my mind goes blank 🤷♂️
Muchas gracias, Señora Maura. Tu español es muy claro y mi sueño es hablar el español como tu.
¡Muchas gracias a ti! Tu sueño está en camino de hacerse realidad. =)

Hola, En Sudamérica llamamos Castellano al español (es lo mismo)
¿Hay otras formas de decir Estoy lleno/a or estoy satisfecho/a?

Aún no hablo mucho español.
¿Puede decir "Aún no hablo español bien."?
Sí puedes.
My favorite reply is, 'Pues, como soy sodormudo en espanol."
You can try saying you're like a 5 year old in Spanish. That's what I do with French, haha.
❤
This is exactly what I would ask Maura to do in all her videos, ¿Podriás hablar más despacio, por favor? Hablar no es una carrera!
Me: Yo hablo español como Tarzán, el Rey de la Selva.
Mi mayor problema es no entiendo hablado español….
Creo que no es necesario que hables más despacio. Te entiendo bien.
¡Gracias Brandon! =)
The subtitles are removed too quickly
We don't need alternative!

No en realidad tu español es demasiado despacio. Me gustaría si hablas más rápido
make the video faster.
