Never ever get out of the car and close the door while the key is in the ignition as the doors can suddenly lock and leave you locked out.

Been restoring a 2001 P38 Bordeaux V8 auto in Alveston red like yours.
While they are an acquired taste they are hugely underrated. They are also never as bad as people make out. I have always liked the shape of this car so bought a right shed on eBay and have found a brilliant car underneath all the builder's cr*p inside. Perfect body, sound chassis but unlike yours I will be changing back from the springs that are fitted to full air suspension. And everything (finally) works.

They are awesome, we have a bordeaux coming to the channel aswell that we bought off ebay which will be an interesting few videos. Thanks for the comment. I totally agree they really are cracking cars to be honest.

Great odds of becoming a classic, as unlike RR classic that took a while to become cult car among collectors. Most P38 where scrapped so the less you have road worthy the more it will rise in price over time.

if you want to daily drive a P38, then i think you need 2 things: A Nanocom, and to disable the immobiliser with the nanocom.
If you dont do that, you cant disconnect the battery because the immobiliser will leave you stranded. It a much more humane and friendly car without that immobiliser.
