Thank you so much. I ended up using 1/4C melted crayons with 1/4C white glue. I didn't have any issues melting the glue in; However, I was using a microwave to heat the wax.

I'm thinking one of those wax or oil scent warmers would work (either type - light bulb or candle) for melting and keeping your mixture melted as you blend this up. (Or even a fondue or sterno pot)
Would you recommend 4 parts mica to 1 part wax?

Was there a tutorial for the minwax and Elmer's glue mix?
Wax is very flammable.
I am in lockdown and I only have white glue, will it work even though it will be hard to mix?
Just wondering why you need to heat it, I used a bees wax shoe conditioner and mica powder and mixed it together with a pallet knife on a glass sheet and it works just fine and it doesn't come off, I dont heat set it at all. I've tried it mixed with glue but it didn't work as well.
Oh good to know! I LOVE the waxes and I have a melting pot. I just need some bee wax on hand if ever I need to make some of my own wax. What other things do you use your DIY wax on? I do have minwax too. Your clear glue said washable, does that make a difference? tfs xoxo
