@@user-ez05ob0WqQ oh okay, I think you are talking about frame drops in ps2, sometimes when you initiate a heat action, fps drops a bit, but ps3 version of course don't do that
Yakuza 2’s combat blew my fucking mind back when I first played it in 2020 as a birthday gift. Easily the most underrated combat in RGG history, other than Kurohyou and Kenzan (although I have not played the latter).
Kenzan's just Yakuza 3 with unbreakable swords lol
Kurohyou's combat = goated. Why? The same people (AKI corp) made Def Jam FFNY.

Only in Yakuza 2 that you can freaking rocket someone up with that uppercut! It's so brutal and fantastic to see them flying like that. This is the first that the axe hammer was introduced to the end combo and I still love that in this one over the games after this.

I wish we could play the original yakuza 2. Kiwami 2 wasn’t bad, but the og 2 felt crisp to play.

Started playing kiwani 2 right after I finished yakuza 0 and kiwami 1 but kiwami 2 Combat is dissapointing😂

Man, it sucks that Kiwami 2 literally have like 90% of the OG music cut. While Yakuza 2 is clunkier (it is a PS2 game after all), the enviroment and music definitely make up for it.
I’m playing the Japan only PS3 remastered so the clunk/input delay is smoothed out making for a rlly good experience, but, it never got localized lmaoooo
@@DillionT RGG REALLY don't want us to play the originals, huh? Like, there is the HD collection...which is not localised, and stuck on the failure that is the Wii U.
It’s on the PS3 too, ironically the best version is the Wii U since it gave OG 1 a proper NG+
@@DillionT unlike many Yakuza players, the fact that it is old really don't change how i viewed the originals. Jank aside, if they are fun games and is great for its time? I am still gonna play it. People act like Yakuza 1 and 2 are fucking Atari games or sum.

The more I see those videos, the more I'm sad we didn't get a proper remaster of this game (and OG1), rather than a Kiwami 2. I'm a bit harsh tho, I'll give some credit to K2, the mini-games felt much easier and doable than the OG2, which made it easy to 100% the game. Still OG2 is superior in almost every way compared to K2, to me at least. Kiwami 1 VS OG1, gotta admit, the jury's still out, sometimes I like K1 more, some other time OG1.
I'm with you on this one, I prefer kiwami 1 that the og most of the times, but with kiwami 2 I never felt it was the true definitive version, not only in combat but in substory and side things too, like no being able to be a host in Adam, still got my gamewinners guide for og 2 so maybe I should play it again
@@TheTigersAssassin Always a pleasure to meet someone sharing the same opinion. Being an host in Adam was fantastic, while it didn't change the gameplay that much, it was nice to see Kiryu playing the host role instead of the customer. It's only too bad that OG2's manager mini-game of the host club is just so boring. I guess that makes K2 better on that front despite copy pasting 0's gameplay. But then again, as memeable as Majima's construction anthem is, I wish we had another Club Adam substory/minigame instead. I mean Dragon Engine Champagne call would have been funny.
@@nugget7thtojoclanchairman525 totally agreed, I mean the purpose of a remake is to have add things o not left out some, the other minor thing that bother me was that they didn't add the small street with the sky tower(forgot the name) I know it was a small place, but they lost the opportunity to actually expand the Osaka region for future titles
@@nugget7thtojoclanchairman525 no 🧢 the Majima Construction minigame was one of the most boring minigames in the entire series for me personally, since it just amounted to me waiting for shit to happen, which is the same for OG 2 club management so they were indeed faithful on that front 🤣
@@DillionT Agreed on that front. At least on the management in OG2, you could mess around outside doing side stuff and such waiting for the phone call. In K2 with Majima's construction, you were stuck on the minigame. I think I spent more time watching stuff on my phone rather than actually looking at the screen to play during that time.

You can do the turn attack stuff till 5 where they nerfed it to only one light attack, but Kiryu’s combo speed here is prolly his fastest he’s ever been

@@antonino7100 his DOD style in 0 is actually p fast the problem is he needs to be in 3rd heat gauge in order for it to be fast, otherwise it’s very clunky to use

hey buddy, this vid is 7 months old but i gotta ask it, where or how to get the komaki parry? also the last heat boost, i'm on my 3rd playthrough on hard but i still havent got those 2, any idea where?
You get the Komaki parry by beating Komaki in a tournament, to do so you must beat almost all 50 opponents except the very last combatant in order to get him to appear. If you want to get the last 2 heat bars(I assume you haven’t done this) you have to do the girl massage minigame, and beat the IF7 arcade minigame
