- EDITOR'S NOTE: This was recorded a few days before the new December points updates! Sorry about the inconsistency, but these armies may not add up to quite 2,000 points anymore.
Mateo's Slaves to Darkness face off against Reece's Blades of Khorne to see who the true champion of the dark gods is in this 2,000 point Age of Sigmar battle report. The new slaves to darkness battle tome is here, and I'm so excited about it. There will be more content with it on the way soon, and also... better lighting and more cameras?
Redeploy is a run, so you cannot do a countercharge afterwards
that Slaughterpriest really got into the spirit of things
Both armies are beautiful. Good watch too keep it up guys
So the rules for chain activations are very weird and convoluted, but what it boils down to:
- If your unit that has strike first is the last unit to fight in the "Strike First Phase" then you can pull a unit into strike first. It does not work if your oppoent also has a strike first unit and his strike first unit has to go after your strike first. If you will you are pulling your unit into a weird limbo between strike first and strike normal
- You still made a mistake since the Butchers of Nations is once per turn(Army) abbility, meaning you can activate with 3 units not 4, but this one is very easy to miss :)
Thanks man! I was just so lost on the rules but I just would have changed the order of things and made sure the skullreapers fought. Khorgorath fighting....means nothing to me haha.
@@ReeceTeg no worries, it's been very recently clarified how it works in a faq and is not really intutive :)
Also yeah, Khorgorath is sadly really bad. It's one of the coolest looking model but the rules are just abysmal. I've heard from others that it has never been good since the first time it got introduced into the game sadly
37:19 missed getting to roll for Abraxia’s molten blood rule. Could have been another 3 wounds caused to who swung at her.
Then I also didn’t see you roll for her mounts attacks either.
9:22 wasn't on 8+. You had 2 banked, rolled 6, -1 for magical intervention, 7
Dang you are right! I goofed and the bloodletters still died for my crime.
