Hey this is Carl from Mox saying hi those OBR beat up my poor SBGL
Hey Carl, Thanks for the super, you might recognize Tunes he is a Portlander. I know your pain those OBR have been doing a real number on me
unfortunately for our unlimited spell that gives 5+ crits, it only effects combat attacks, not the crawlers shooting 11:25
You're definitely mot locked into the single manifestation. You can still pick the generic ones. I don't know who told you that.
Also I think people need to turn away from varanguard. It's so many points now and LoTFP has so many kool options. You need more board control.
Let’s go Michael!
Legion of the First Prince BABY!
that is so many mortek guard!
I've seen a bit more luck out of a modified legion of the first list that focused more on bloodletters, bloodcrushers, flamers, and beast of nurgle. The centurion marshall actually gets some use with his new demon mechanic as well.
I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!
Thanks for the comment, It was great seeing you in chat!
@@BattleshockWargaming yeah no problem, next batrep of ours by the way, Dad's running the ratties and i'm taking Nagash and Vhordrai lol!
Finally a rooster that it's not the always katakros or Nagash.
I know and its legit good too!
Jeez, OBR's ability to just hand out 5+ wards everywhere is frankly ridiculous. And handing out penalties to enemy wards is rough. Stupid spam lists... 😅
Great game, guys! I'll be rooting for Be'Lakor for future games! I'm still going to try a Legion list, but focusing on Varanguard and Bloodletters with Eternus and Furies. The Plaguebearers just melted, but that might have come down to the ward penalty. So having something that is decently fighty, like Bloodletters, might be fun.
I would switch to blood letters for sure they might actually do some damage and can get more benefit out of belakor making them strike first
Awesome game, played perfectly by both of the players
Thank you, its been great having Tunes out he plays excellent Warhammer
Nice Battle rep as always!
Questions:
1) Wasn't better for OBR at bottom of turn 2 to attack Eternus? StD could have fail his tactic of "do not weaver".
2) A pile-in move is considered a move for the shieldwall ability of mortek guard?
It probably would have been better to slap eternus, We checked and Pile in is not a MOVE ability strangely enough
pile in is part of the declare step of the fight ability. You pick a target to pile in, then you pick the same or separate target to fight into
Spoiler Shield is back
Hazzaa!!!
Well thank you for helping me spend my Christmas money 😂 just brought the spearhead for OBR. Only 70 guard to go 😂
Merry Christmas! Hope you enjoy painting a million skelly boys!
Go Michael
No matter who you are rooting for Michael is going to WIn
Hope you play belakor again w bloodletters
It looks like you didn't shrug wounds off on the PBs with bel'akor when he took the 9 damage from MG. I believe its a 4+ shrug onto daemons within 12"
they need to be in the combat range and i was a bit out, i had piled in too far
This matchup feels mean to Be'lakor. Being able to block that reinforced hammer is his specialty. When you flood the board w/ non-special things his impact plummets.
I think I heard the worlds smallest violin playing just for him

Where has Dave gone? Still a part of the channel?
Obr 5+ crit spell does not work on shooting atacks.
Its weird but i think you can take a generic manifestation lore in AoR.
That's what rules say. Indeed only reason dok aor wizards gets to cast anything. Why aor should be worseby default?
@bakuchidancer Whats weird is it force you to get only Sigil if you want to take StD manifestations. Those are already very bad manifestations in comparison with generic ones. I don't understand why they put that limitation.
if opponent takes double-turn, you are underdog until you takes double-turn. Nice game otherwise
This was filmed prior to the update, there is a delay between filming and releasing
@@BattleshockWargaming thank you, it makes sense then:)
Why didn't OBR get a tactic on the double turn? As the underdog the new rules say they can choose a tactic during the double.
because this was most likely filmed before the update
@@kalestu_ also is not exaclty like that if I am not mistaken. You need to be 6 point under, otherwise you still can't pick a tactic and moreover you give underdog to the enemy.
The rule states if you're 6 or more VP behind and take the double then you can still take a tactic and your opponent does not get to be the underdog. If you double with less than a 6vp difference then you get no tactic and your opponent gains underdog for the rest of the game (until they double you back).
With the edited content we are normally 2 or 3 weeks behind any major rule update, this was filmed before the BS update
Based on several things filmed before warscroll?
yes there is usually a delay for us due to editing times
