the one where it stopped on 442.800 is a repeater operating one of several digital voice modes. So you'd need a receiver that has the right radio to decode it.
Thank you for the video ! My question is do I need a usb and cd to program if I buy it ? Or for some frequencies I might need those or can I just manually just program the frequencies ??
Does it have 8.33 khz steps to pick up airband frequency? Emergency services use digital these days . The only thing you'll get these days is probably weather alerts and a few local ham's not worth paying the money for this receiver. Scanners were good in the day not now.
Depending on your location... I'm in South West lower Michigan and everything is digital now :/ only thing these are good for is weather band. Digital scanner going to cost minimum 300 bucks not realistic for Most of us :(
Remarkable device to look at. These are basically only for USA markets. Great to own one. Thanks for demo.
Pretty much all scanners are.
Where do get the frequencies to program not sure where to look and I tried the police band and nothing. Not very savvy with this stuff

Are you able to hear both sides of the communication from the control dispatch and the response from the patrol car or officer?
Is there a way to easily scan the channels that common 2 way radios that your average person would use?
Can you manually enter local frequencies, will they store in memory?

That was Yaesu System Fusion.
How is the volume on this unit

I've programmed mine, but it doesn't scan, just stays on the same channel.

How do you lock in the channels
Where can you get local police codes
Google they will come up
A lot of agencies in my area are going encrypted, do you think that without the police radio traffic, this scanner would still be worth having?
Hesitating like yerself, to buy, pondering some similar questions sir
Yes I have it and mostly listen to air band, railroad, ham, etc. Not digital.
Nothing in my stitch of the Mitten except NOAA weather, kinda bummer have a few different scanners that are now over complicated weather radios
Yes. Police is the most boring stuff to listen to. Time to stop being an NPC.

This scanner is the same price no matter where you are in the usa
Mine personally has 2 perfectly squared holes on the very bottem😅anyone care about ground ?
my comment is i cant listen to local police depatment
As long as they are on an analog frequency I agree you just program the frequency and save it. If your local is on digital this scanner will not work.
Too slow and amateurish!
You're to much a POS for anyone to give a crap about... hello Mr. Worthless
