Abiding means staying in. Reading His Word, Worshipping and praying daily, throughout the day. Every day.

I get how you could come to that conclusion. However, abiding/remaining is fully explained in 1 John. It is remaining in union with Jesus by remaining in trust in his redeeming sacrifice.
1 John 2:24 "Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. IF what you heard from the beginning remains in you (see Heb 3:6 below) , you will also REMAIN IN UNION WITH both the Son and the Father. And this is what he has promised us (who remain): eternal life."
Heb 3:6 - But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God's entire house. And we are God's house, IF we keep our courage and remain confident in our HOPE in Christ.
      God bless.

Just 3 words: ABIDE IN CHRIST. Christ = 2nd person of Trinity; YHWH Who became man. ABIDE = stay; if you abide at home, you stay at home. IN = hard word to interpret. I take IN to mean "in fellowship with." Christ dwells in the heart BY FAITH (Ephesians 3), by trusting Him.

It means to abide in Gods word. The manna we consume and drink. John 1:1. To be born of Gods spirit at our spiritual birth when we are reborn by Gods spiritfrom being spiritually dead to spiritually alive just like Yeshua did FIRST. When we are begotten of Gods word just like Yeshua was. Romans 1:3-4, Romans 8:11, James 1:18.

In all love, I'm afraid that's not it. The New Testament teaches that we are united with Christ through faith. This term "In Christ" or "in union with Christ apears throughout the NT. 1 John especially elaborates on abiding as discussed in John 15 talking about "remaining in union with Christ". Falling out of union means falling out of life, too. Only those who die IN CHRIST will be raised to life (1 Thess 4).
Salvation is by grace through faith in the redeeming sacrifice of Jesus. Trusting anything else than this hope can take us out of union with Jesus even if we drift away from it over time. This is why Paul warns repeatedly not to drift from the message first preached.
      God bless.
