4:00 You get enough AoE Damage that pushing back with tornado is pointless. Especially when tougher enemies have 2 or 3 movement tiles per turn. You just use it on Lava to gain +1 AP, or on an adjacent Rubble tile to spread it below an enemy and then Fireball for a free +1000 damage.
@ReformistTM Hi. I have not had an issue with ranged bosses, as they typically have lower health, non damaging abilities that don't care about range, or enhanced movement that make the pushback a poor trade off (unless you're lucky for the one relic that adds +1 knockback). They simply do not have the dps to kill you or lower you enough for the next fights to kill you before a heal. Spreading fire or earth so you can combo better, or gaining AP on Lava, or clearing bad surfaces (mud) so you can apply fire/earth below them just ends up saving you more turns than the wind. That said, the game is easy enough that it really doesn't matter. It's fun to try different strats
@@aetherblackbolt1301 Yes, I didn't mention "ranged bosses" -- I was referring to "melee range bosses" aka bosses who need to be in melee to deal damage. The pushback is very effective vs them :)
Started playing this, somehow accrued 16 hours so far. Overall, love the concept, but rough spots involving execution -- I found the most powerful builds were those that relied on specific cards like fire breath or fire in general, whereas anything involving earth or wind was highly relic dependent (Firebombs could spike from 400 to 1.4k damage from one lucky find -- hard to 'build' around radically changing numbers). Also, as much as I've tried to change builds, I always feel like I'm a Fire dragon. Wind, Earth, Whelps, you can make them work, but it's clear that fire has to accompany them, you can't be JUST an earth dragon, no matter how many cards I remove from my deck at merchants. Oh, and Flame Circus is hilarious, especially with Redrock Scarab and Otan Jewel. It's about the only thing that seems to stand against Dragonlord's Pinnacle + Breath decks.
I Start the Fight´s with, 5 Random Lavafelds, beginn the Turn summon 1 Baby Dragon, in Phase 1 Baby Dragon start with 300 ATK more and on the beginn of the Turn all Enemies were hit by a Fireball.
Check out the newest OP build! Earth Dragon: ruclips.net/video/e4OSR_CKu54/видео.html
You picked up gold in the first fight, and I in turn make this comment to say that I am happy. My dragon heart burns a little brighter.
I do hope the full game is so so expansive. Multiple bosses to pick from, each with several builds...this looks so clean so far

It’s actually useful against melee range bosses :)
