I'm learning korean by myself at home and to help memorizing vocab I note down the vocab that I learn during the day on a sticker, I don't exceed 5 words a day in one sticker and I stick it on the wall in my room then I keep checking them all every day until I memorize them all by heart.
I didn't do that when I was learning English and French because vocab wasn't hard for me to memorize lol its just korean that's hard for me lol.

선생님 한국언니, excellent video on the flash cards. I have used them my entire life - even when I was working on my PhD. With the Korean language I have flash cards for both words and short phrases. I also try to create sets of related flash cards (10 ways to ask questions - your video, words related to weather, and as you mention, words related to what I'm reading or studying). It's hard to study or read if you don't know the vocabulary, so presenting ideas to help learn the words is critical. Great idea. P.S. this is the first recent video I've seen, I really like the short hair style:-) 조심해요. 데이브 드림

In my case, the best way to memorize vocabularies is by saying the word out loud when doing my daily routines. For example when I'm hanging my laundry I always say 팔래를 널다 until I finish it or when I need to memorize adjectives I attribute those certain adjectives to myself like 저는 양복하는 사람.
