- I had the opportunity to play the 2015 & 2018 Scottish Open host, Gullane no.1. The Gullane golf courses are located about an hour from Edinburgh and should be on your list when visiting the east coast of scotland. This video is just Part 1, the front nine. So may many good courses round there....was lucky enough to play Gullane No 1 along with Luffness New and North Berwick several years ago and all were great. Would love to get back there soon!
Always fun to watch someone’s thoughts on a course I know very well. Strong wind has become a constant in East Lothian it feels these days. You coped with it exceptionally well. 👏🏴

So wonderful to get another course vlog from you! I have a minor critique, and it’s only that the incredible vibrancy of your personality that we see during your live sections doesn’t come through as well during the narrative sections. If you weren’t so amazingly engaging when you are talking to the camera, it wouldn’t even come up, but the live sections set the narration in sharp relief. Let your personality shine through more! You are awesome! (I have to make a lot of instructional library videos, so I know the struggle. The best advice that was ever given to me was “pretend you have a good friend in front of you, and you don’t want them to get up until they have heard everything about what you have done/are doing.”)
Great Vlog. I was there with my daughter for the ladies Scottish Open a couple of years ago.
