- I give my opinion on my 2020 Nissan Titan Pro4X. Walk around, show you some of features and personal touch I did to it. The truck has a 3" front 1" rear with shocks Rough country lift, Fuel Rebel Bronze Black Matte bead ring wheels 20x9, 6x139.70 with plus 1mm on, 33" x12.5xR20. You can go bigger wheels and tires with 6" and up lift!
Prior to getting my Titan last year, I also owned a RAM 1500. I can honestly say that this TITAN is perhaps the most underrated truck in the segment. It’s refined, well built (in America) and a pleasure to drive as a commuter.
Kind of glad it hasn’t become a mainstream truck..

I normally don’t like blacked out "bro trucks" but this one looks nice with its bronze colored rims. I would like to have a Titan PRO-4X in Baja Storm and with its pro-4x sticker. Why would you buy a 4x4 Titan and remove its PRO-4X sticker? Since you didn’t like that sticker, why didn’t you buy an SV trim with the 4x4 drivetrain?
@@travelinman482Thanks for compliments, the truck I got was a demo, so it was discounted. The SV has lots of chrome on it, to much for my liking. The truck has plenty of Pro4x badging on it, to let people know it's a Pro4x. I just wanted it blacked out and the sticker needed to go.

I’ve had my 2010 Titan and frontier clean with no problems they are better trucks than the rest by far...
Awesome truck. Extremely underrated. I test drove all the others and this was my favorite. I’m getting one with sunroof tomorrow! Love it.

I've had my 2017 Pro-4x since it came out and I've driven it from the West Coast all the way to the East Coast and have about 40k+ on it and have not had a problem EVER on it. The only thing that I had repaired/replaced on it was the right side mirror metal structure that started to rust. Rust was due to seagull crap landing on it and me not cleaning it off for months, dealer took care of it free of charge since it was still under warranty. That's what you get for living in the central coast of Cali. Still running like a well oiled machine and will keep it till the wheels literally fall off.

Thanks for the tip on getting the pro 4x sticker off. Just got my 2021 pro 4x and took the sticker off with a blow dryer. Looks so much better
That is seriously a beautiful truck. I’m really digging it, thinking about trading my Toyota Tundra in for one. I’m like you, looking at everything else but then going back to Titan; and every time I go back, I end up liking it more & more & more. 😂 They pay so much attention to the details. I've test drove and really liked them. One plus to the sunroof package is the cooled seats too!
Nice truck, I’ve learned the hard way about trying cheap tires. I’ve been burned too much. Never go cheap where the rubber meets the road.
So far they holding up good. I'm looking into going to 35" tires. Thanks for the advice.
Just bought a 21 pro 4x. Absolutely love it. I sell them as well in Fort Worth and the best feeling is when a Ford or dodge guy drives one for the first time and likes it. People don’t understand they’re assembled here in the USA in Tennessee. They are just so loyal to their Ford, GMC etc. Great video! Thinking between a level kit or the 3 in lift. I think the stance on yours in perfect.
Thank you, I went with the 3" lift because I have small kids, they can still climb in by themselves lol. It's a solid truck. Titan does have all the engine options like the other brands. But they got right with 5.6 and I get decent mpg 15-19.
Im working on a deal for a 21 baja storm color now. Option/price is better than the rest, more towing power than the fords. I also think they are solid. Im just trying to decide if i should wait for the 22 model, the front end is nasty

I posted a youtube link to the 22 model. Imagine a titan sized frontier. Im opting for a used model titan now for work, and ill trade in on a 22 model after they have been out for a while. I really dig the look of it and if i go for a 21 ill be sitting on it a while

Traded my'15 F150 for my '19 Titan and won't be going back to Ford any time soon.
I have a 2023 I was also a Ford guy but not anymore I love this truck I have no complaints I never thought I would own anything other than a Ford truck I’ll say it to anyone go test drive a Titan and you will understand what I am saying this is a very nice truck it is way under rated what lift did you put on your truck I can’t find any lift for the pro4x
It was a 3" kit. I think it was rough country. But in my opinion they better with a 6".
I'm not brand loyal person. I like all the brands, they all have cool trims. Some look badass lifted. I've owned them all except for Toyota. Right now I think my truck would be a TRX. But I'm waiting on the market to get better for buyers.
I just got rid of my 18 f150 3.5 for a 19 Pro4x. Stock now but not for long. Nice set up!

@@Offspec79 You talked about how the 2016-2019s shifted slow and did not have a responsive engine compared to the 2020. that alone is more than enough info for me to look at 2020 Titan Pro 4 x's and above. Have my eyes on a grey one !
@@unknOwnXit3 I had a 2017 Grey Pro4x when they just came out. When it shift the rpms would go down 900 -1000. Felt like driving a stick shift. I looked in to it, and found that some dealers did like a reset or update on the ECU, that solve the issue. I instantly could tell the difference in the 2020, when it shifts.
@@Offspec79 good to know. I have a 2020 being shipped to me from TX to the Midwest. Got a great deal on it. Can’t wait to get it. Might just make an IG for it. Since I have plans of modifying it, tastefully of course, and off-roading with it.
Amazing looking truck, I have a Frontier Pro-4X and one day when I am able to upgrade definitely getting the Titan Pro-4X. Great video man.
I looked at Frontiers. They look good lifted up. Interested what the new body style look will be. Very capable offroad truck.

I'm thinking about buying this in about 1-3 months from now (saving money). I have an Infiniti G37 sedan with a sunroof, which is nice, but I never use it, so I don't think I would get the sunroof on the Pro4X...just another thing to fix when it breaks anyway lol.
Beautiful truck. I'm really considering buying a Pro4 X XD with a longer bed, and tow mirrors. I feel like they cheap out on the regular side mirrors, way too small as well. Overall, its a great truck!
I have the 2020 pro 4x, grey. Spray painted the front skid plate matte black, looks much better. Spray paint yours, would would good on yours too.

Thank you, It has 33" tires on 20x9 fuel Rebel. Lift is a 3" front , 1" rear rough country.

Sorry I forgot to say the details. The lift is 3" Rough country with 1" in the back with shocks. Rims size 20x9, 6x139.70, with plus 1 mm offset. Fuel Rebels. Tires Suretrac RT 33"x12.5 / R20. I hope this answer your questions. Thanks for comments

I love the stance of that wheel/tire setup. Do you know what offset your wheels are? I want some for mine and I’m trying to decide between +18mm and +01mm.
I’d like to know the offset as well. I have a 23 and would like to do a similar setup.
Does your wheel and lift setup void the factory warranty? Asking because I’m considering something similar for my truck. Also, did you have to drop the front differential? Good job with your truck, btw. Looks great :)
It doesn't void the warranty, the dealer where I bought my truck, sells lifted trucks. The 3" came with upper control arms for the front and 1" block for the rear. The 6" requires lowering the front differential and more. Thanks

Beautiful truck !! I have the same truck myself now I’m looking to upgrade and I was worried the rough county wouldn’t fit the pro 4x models did you have any issues with scratching or metal grinding ?
Rough country has a kit for Pro4x. Came with upper control arms and rear shocks.
No issues at all with the lift, I had it done at a shop.

1.5" wheel spacer will make it more aggressive.
You should have left the pro4x sticker. Every time I see a pro4x without the sticker I think, oh it’s been wrecked and they didn’t bother putting it back.
Too late now lol, it does come with plenty of other Pro4x badges.

Man this truck is beautiful in black. I am looking at one of the brown ones right now. Your truck is making me second guess that. I'm also glad you mentioned how you took of the pro 4 x badge off. That is the worst part of the truck. Also how is the ride quality after the 3 inch lift? I am debating going with the 2 inch level but man 3 Inch seems to set it off.
I do like the Baja storm color too. It will look sick with a lift , rims and tires setup. These trucks are made to last. I think you can get away with doing a leveling kit and 33" tires. Thanks for comment!!
And on the Pro4x sticker, it bother some of viewers, because I removed it lol. But I'm not into have decals and stickers on my vehicles.

Nice truck! I jus got mine a few days ago in the same color. Are u having lag time when accelerating from a stop or yield? Its like the transmission has a lag if you press too hard on the pedal.
Thank you, I'm not experiencing lag during acceleration. My truck has 12k miles, I think your truck is still learning your driving style. Put some more miles on it, it might get better.
I’m getting the same with my 20’ as well....
@@brianhernandez752 I've got a thousand miles on mine now. The lagging has lessened but it comes up every now and then.
I have a 20 pro4x and I’m experiencing pretty bad lag during stop and go and stop signs. It’s very annoying. I’m at 6k miles and the dealer keeps telling me the transmission is learning but I’ve never had a car do this before. I’m not so sure it’s the transmission. It might be the throttle.
To me, it seems like the truck wants u to come to a complete stop before allowing you to go. Idk if its a safety feature but, I agree, it's super annoying.

Good set up. Question for you, what type fuel do you run and MPG? I'm considering getting one but id lean to run middles grade. The 400hp not worth premium fuel.
I usually run regular, but I have used premium before. Didn't really notice a difference. On mpg the best I got was 20.3 with the rims and tires setup. I do get 15-17 on avg.
@@Offspec79 okay that's good to know. Last thing are you concerned about the direct injection system clogging up? Or transmission issues?
I had a Ford 3.5 ecoboost before with 90k miles, it had catch can which helped. Right now I don't think it will be a issue anytime soon. I'm not sure if there is a catch can kit for the Titan yet. Transmission feels strong so its not an issue either. Thanks for the comments!!

Did your truck level or does it still have a little rake? My 19 pro4x still has a bit of rake and didnt level with the 3in lift. And RC tells me its due to it being a Pro4X.

How stupid is it that Nissan made the front tag block the Cruise sensor if you flip the tag bracket around. Why would you take away the low end clearance>>>???

It barely rubbed the splash guard during sharp turn. I took them off ,no more rubbing. Enjoy your new Pro4x

What magnaflow did you put on it, and how does it sound under acceleration?
I didn't asked the shop what magnaflow it was. I just told, I didn't want to loud during cold start. It sounds good during acceleration, not loud and obnoxious.

Did you get the RC 3 inch kit with the rear and front N3 shocks? How’s your mpg with the lift? Definitely want to get this truck and do a similar setup with better shocks.

Before the lift what was the drive like? Any wind noise ? Quiet cabin?
To be honest 3" lift isnt much different from stock. The noise would depend on your tires, MT / AT.
FYI I would take that steering wheel cover off its going to ruin that steering wheel! But awesome truck!

Wheels are 20" on 33" tires. I been thinking of going to 35" to fill in the gap.

Are you getting a clunk in the trans or somewhere when coasting to a stop?
I feel it, when im coming to a complete stop, feel like the trans is shifting into first gear. I dont feel it every time i stop. Its very subtle.

How are you liking it after a few months? I'm interested in this truck for sure. seems to be a good deal compared to similarly equipped trucks in the same class.
I like it alot, I think is breaking in nicely and getting better mpg. The truck feels solid and well planted. Has good acceleration too. Just do your research on the dealerships. Find one that, doesnt have hidden fees. Thats probably what i regret the most, was the financing part.

Rc-83430 (04-20 Titan 2wd/4wd). 21 might be different then.
@@Offspec79 nothings different on a 20-21 everything is the same down to the tactical sunglasses holder that doesn’t fit.
Did you have to replace your rear shocks?
They came with the kit.
So since you don't need those stock wheels you could gift them to me...🤣 for my 2017 Titan. My RPM's don't fall flat and it squeals the tires even into 2nd.

The 16-19s front end is far more unique. The new ones are way too common looking.
🤔 I agree they should've done way more on the redesigning. They would've gained more buyer's from the other brands if were to come out with the titan warrior concept instead of a refresh.
I like the 20-21 front end much better than the 2016. I have a 2014 titan that has been great.

I guess it could different options the sunroof, the sports bar, the side steps. The XD is like 2250 payload.
I know you haven’t had the Titan for long but what’s the reliability and maintenance look like?
