      Yes, don’t let male stereotypes lessen your ability to take care of your body and mind. You can’t work in an oil field all your life. Plan for old age early.

    It would also be great to do dry brushing on your skin before stepping into the tub. A light hand helps move your lymph which is just below the skin surface. Think the amount of pressure as one would stroke a cat. Takes about ten minutes. Besides blood, lymph is the other fluid in our body, but it doesn't have a circulatory pump as our heart does in moving blood. Bouncing movement as well as dry brushing of the skin is how to move toxins to lymph nodes.

    what do the crystals do for you?

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  2 года назад +1

      Every crystal carries a different frequency/energy within them. Just as the earth has a frequency so too do the elements within her. When you add crystals into water the frequency of the crystals you are using ‘ripple out’, in a sense, through the water and your energy body receptors will ‘absorb’ them…assisting you along your journey. I like to use rose quartz to connect with the vibration of giving and receiving love, or citrine to connect with my inner power, value and worth…I will use polished amethyst for spiritual connection….there are so many choices. There is no need to use crystals in a ‘detox’ bath…I just like the added energy 🥰 hope that helps. 🙏🏻

    Dumb question, but do you use soap before/after a salt bath?

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  3 года назад

      No such thing as a dumb question….if you wanted to wash I would wash before you do your salt soak….then after the detox just rinse off with water….if you use soap with chemicals then you are putting that on your skin right after you detoxed, and they will be absorbed. But really….whatever works….as we cannot really avoid all the toxins in our environment. 😊

    I've read on posts that you should not rinse off the salt after a bath?

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  6 лет назад +2

      Lisa if you are using dead sea salts....or himalayan salts then i wouldn’t rinse....as i would be using them for a different purpose. when detoxing with epsom it helps to rinse as you have sweated out the toxins...the salts absorb the toxins...once absorbed it is good to rinse the toxins off.

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  6 лет назад +1

      Gm beanzz flicker if you are wanting to detox and taking it as a hot detox bath then i would suggest rinsing....if more for a muscle relaxant or smooth skin...then it really doesn’t matter. Just a suggestion. 😁

    What is the oil you put?

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  3 года назад +1

      It was a blend i made for muscle relief…you can use most oils so long as they are in a carrier oil (to reduce skin irritation….ie: dont put grapefruit essential oil drops directly into the bath). But lavender, eucalyptus, rosemary, chamomile, rose are all good ones. Would can purchase a blend that has an intention and use it as well. Sometimes I dont add oil…it’s all in how I feel. Hope that helps.

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  6 лет назад +1

      Roshni Adeesh yes you can use warm/hot water.....the only reason i recommend hot is receive the added benefit of sweating toxins out.

  • @outsiderhughes3737
    @outsiderhughes3737 7 лет назад

    Does anyone know why I might feel dizzy and weak after a baking soda bath? I'm heat intolerant anyway but it's worse after Baking Soda baths compared to Apple Cider Vinegar or Epsom Salt baths by themselves. I don't take super hot baths.

    Does this make you loose weight

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  4 года назад

      K&l Nation no it doesn’t. But my guess is....if we are getting rid of toxins it would help our body function more efficiently...and therefore could contribute.

    Can soaking in epsom salt give you UTI?

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  8 лет назад +1

      La_faymarie 41 - yes it is possible depending on your sensitivities...it could be an irritant for you and soothing for another. Other factors. Yo consider include what the tub was cleaned with prior, what bacteria could be on your own skin that can cause irritation, etc. when dealing with UTI it is generally recommended to shower...

    are dead sea salt baths ok for the vag and its healthy ph levels????

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  4 года назад +1

      Linda Commisso thx for the question....i wouldn’t know about pH levels....but in general a salt bath is good for cases of vaginitis....if you have a specific concern i would ask your doctor. Salt baths have been used for years for cleansing....but there could be instances that it is not helpful.

    • @AnamCaraMarshall
      @AnamCaraMarshall  6 лет назад +2

      Joshua Osborne typically conventional table salt has been processed to remove ‘impurities’....chemicals such as barium, sulfuric acid and chlorine are used.....also many manufacturers add iodine ....so may suggestion is to stick with the epsom salt. It will be cheaper too 😊
