What I always loved about bass was that the instrument is huge, the tone is huge but the amps are so tiny compared to guitar amps. 😂
The state of the bassists' backs that gigged with Ampeg 8x10s in their youth probably have something to do with that.
Funny thing is that even a DI Bass nowadays sounds great with current PAs

i heard the same, gonna try it through my PA now to see if i can hear a difference
yup tried the PA, maybe my ears r broken or there might be an EQ in/out switch...
Same here. That was some severe knob twiddling and I didn't even hear a subtle difference. Something was not enabled.

Apart from the fact that I don't like the Darkglass sound, those widgets come at a very large premium here in Australia.
When looking between their 900w offerings and this…. It makes me wish this was a 900w head. It seems to have all the distortions of all their 900w heads plus octavers, delays, etc…. Just at a lower wattage.
I would like to see when you show things like the tuner and knobs abd what they do how about a close up of it hummmm

Looks like another dark glass cracker tbh. Just a quicky - does the app work fine without internet? So if you’re in some underground basement gig with no signal on your phone (or in a few years when ther servers get turned off) you can still make little tweaks?

Its actually can be used as a usb interface for direct recording and its a class D poweramp so no load needed.
The best bass amp is no bass amp. That is if you have a PA :) I haven't used a bass amp on stage in years.
Totally understand. When you realize that you can carry all your rig in your bass bag and it's not bad at all, no turning back. Most musicians are also carrying other stuff.

Are you guys really in such a rush to make these videos, that you didn't notice you were in bypass mode when twiddling all of the knobs at the beginning, to the point where you turned ALL of the knobs ALL THE WAY DOWN and still nothing happened, and just said yeah great or something... Seriously guys sort it out, don't put out shit with errors like this...
Do you act like such a prick in real life too or only online?
