sounds similar to my geddy lee sans amp rack mount, a bit rounder on the dirty side but at that point it might be the sound of the bass your using. Either way sounds great and I would grab one as a live amp, through a decent loud cab it would make a statement

I’ve been torn between an Aguilar TH500 or this Darkglass 500. I’ve read a lot of reviews of bassists claiming the Darkglass shorts on them after a few months, and even shuts off on its own during gigs. Etc.
