The bulbs you bought on e bay, are they 6,5 V and 0,8 W or do they have a 12 V currency voltage ? Anyway, Thanks a lot for a good presentation of the dismantling of the OBD unit.
Good stuff, have you ever had any problems with the display on the radio unit? Mine looks like it bled towards the bottom where you would get your “code” message.

I have a question will the OBC still work because I checked my fuses from fuse box 1 -17 -20 on a 95 525i e34 and the car starts right up it's just on the onboard computer nothing works so could the bulbs be the culprit fret not working

Any advice on how to fix non-illumination of the center vent bulbs and a vent slider bulb?

Nice explained! I have an analog watch instead of the OBC, could I replace it ? I think the fitment is the same, but I'm not sure If it would work.

My radio and obc does not turn on. Fuse is good in engine bay. Radio fuse is blown on the radio replaced but still don't work. Any suggestions?
