  • Some people say that a little bit of stick drift makes your rotational aim assist kick in. Is this true? In this video I fully explore this claim.

    Great job pointing out that stick drift only does all the work if the player stands completely still like a bot and doesn't apply any stick input. This just never happens in game.
    For me personally, I prefer 0% deadzone because at the most responsive setting, I feel that my tracking and recoil control are at their best.

      I opt for 2%. Just enough so that the stick drift doesn’t give me anxiety

    Might sound silly but settings can actually go "stale". You might feel it some days or notice it, i did notice your aa was kind of stuttering, all you need to do is change your settings a bit and change them back, even target compensation and melee, especially in linear just move the settings around and put them back to "refresh" the code. It sounds stupid but it works, some preds put me on this sauce and other secrets

      please my king can you provide me with this secret sauce?? I can dm you on reddit or something? idk if youtube has messenger. When you say change the settings do you mean, if we say linear response curve.. do I just change to classic then move around and change them back?

    Hi. Sorry, I don't know English, but you make very valuable lessons, thank you very much! Can you make a video lesson how to find the correct speed in the scope? I am using ALC. I'm playing with these parameters for a very long time and I don't understand how to find the correct speed, should the horizontal speed be less than the vertical speed? There is a lot of debate here, also I think it depends on the curve chosen. I play on the line( parameter 0), speed 116, 116, but I think I lack speed, but if I start to increase, the sight starts to run, if I make the speed different, there is a scatter. I tested 125,125, then 130, 125 and so on, I get a strong scatter, then the sight goes sharply left, then right. How to adjust the speed in the sight ?

      Check out my ALC video! It’s one of the best videos I’ve made and should answer some of your questions

    Hello! Thank you for the video! I bought a gamepad with hall sensors, so I have 0 dead zone and don't have stick drift, aim assist is completely absent, could this be due to 0 stick drift?

    • @RobPlaysTooMuch

      It shouldn’t be. There are a few things you can do to investigate this.
      First, is this a firing range issue? Because straight up, some of the dummies in the range don’t have aim assist. That can be what you’re feeling.
      If this is happening in-game, then make sure you have aim assist (target compensation) turned on in the settings. If you do, only other thing that I can think of would be that you don’t strafe much (standing completely still, not tracking and no stick-drift = no aim assist).
      Other than these suggestions, the only hardware that gets rid of stick drift is MnK!

    Sure, stick drift isn’t stronger. That’s why all pros play with it

    • @RobPlaysTooMuch
      @RobPlaysTooMuch  7 месяцев назад

      @@TheRealBillix low deadzone linear is more responsive. Playing with unresponsive settings is like playing with oven mitts on. Pros play responsive settings because they benefit from responsiveness. Stick drift is a side effect.
      Easiest argument would be to take a controller freak like Genburten or Verhulst and give them a Hall Effect controller (no stick drift). Would they play just as well? What do you think?
