your videos are so good, such great tutorials. i love how you break everything down into it's component parts, use non-game visuals to explain things, and don't assume the viewer knows something they might not.
I cannot seem to get the timing down on this. I have interact and jump remapped to L1 and R1, and after the interact + jump my character immediately does a zip jump. No chance to hit the second jump input. Will try re-watching and testing again tonight.
It sounds most likely like you’re not pressing the button quick enough, but there is another possibility. Sometimes the controller or Apex add a delay when you remap buttons and that may be happening with your jump or intact button. I had this issue when binding interact to a paddle, I’d have to look at items for an extra quarter of a second to pick them up. I ended up binding the PC button for interact to a paddle but I don’t know if that’s an option for you. I’d go forward under the assumption that you’re not pressing the two jump inputs fast enough. Try using a horizontal Pathfinder zipline. This is a nice drill because you don’t have to line back up with the zipline after every try. In this case, you’ll know you hit the super jump successfully when the zip jump sends you much higher
Unfortunately ive given up on trying to learn crazy movement, ive breen practiceing for almsot a month not, for superjumping om pressing them as fast as humanly possible and it works like maybe 1/70 tries, litterly, none of these, work for me, i think the game is telling me to just get better at aiming
Every controller has a different latency for inputs. Plug your controller into a PC and go to the super glide trainer website (quick google search). This’ll help you learn the timing for the new controller
Paddles are tough. Can you super jump on the face buttons? If not, press faster. If you can but can’t super jump on paddles, start with a mix of face buttons and paddles. Should help re-interact more smoothly (X[face])+(A[face])+(A[paddle]) is one of my favorites
@@RobPlaysTooMuch yea I was trying it out and I can do it perfectly with face buttons but I can’t seem to do it with my paddles I can get 1 out of like 30
@@RobPlaysTooMuch so I’ve been practicing some more and I can do the jump a little more constantly with paddles but I have to press both my jump and interact at the same and multiple times with probobly isn’t a good thing
@@s0l0-_-patek92 I’ve had some success with X (face) + A (face) + A (paddle). It’s a good middle ground because you can get your thumb back on the joystick a millisecond earlier

Thank you very much. I try!
The man. The myth. The super jump

I struggle to do super Glide on dualsense edge compared to my normal dualsense controller, idk why... Any fix?

Why you have to press A on Xbox controller twice?
Pressing A twice makes it a super jump. If you press A once it’s only a zip jump, which gives you less height and distance
has nothing to do with your configs lol
No u
Another great tutorial from Mr. Apex Academy himself 🫡
