This movie makes me choke up, not emotionally, but I want to be there, fighting with them. I grew up with them. Most of us did. That movie was the last of my child-hood wrapping the original 6 up and giving them rest. Now a new generation of superheroes will raise all these kids who look for someone to look to and think, "what would captain Marvel do?" for us it was Tony, Cap, Natasha, Clint, Bruce, or Thor. Now the next Starwars movie is coming and thats ending decades of work, that my father and I grew up to. The cheers in that cinema are true fans, and believers who look up to them and love them, root for them and cry for them. We grew up with them and they raised us to who we are and now they are gone, leaving traces of their legacy behind. They may be fiction for some, but to the rest of us, they are our home and family. Thank you for your time.
I sympathize with your personal trials. Each generation has its hero-type films. Mine were The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape. I won't try to compare apples and oranges, as there would be no point. The content is immaterial. The backdrop of what connects us is unimportant. I can recall certain songs that were not "hip" even for their time but they still bring back a flood of memories. Interesting to hear about the impact Star Wars had on you and your family.
I was born when the first avengers movie was released, I remember having a family movie night watching it. I’m not that new to the marvel universe and I haven’t been here for ages but I can still watch all the movies right?
What's crazy for me is remembering when Avengers came out in 2012, which was my first year in Junior College. I remember talking with a buddy about how these were all building up to the Infinity Saga (both of us were/still are big comic nerds) and how it would be like 10 years till we got there. Now it's over and the new phase will be starting. Both of us are starting to settle down, me going back to school to pursue a career change, him opening his own mechanics shop and getting married. We had a double date for Endgame and I'd be lying if walking out of that wasn't a surreal experience. A franchise that started when I was a freshman in high school comes to a close as I move into the latter part of my 20's. Fucking crazy man.
I don't care who you are, how "manly" you think you are, but if you've watched every Marvel film, there's no way you weren't shedding at least a few tears at the end of this film. Simply epic.
Tony's funeral was one of the saddest moments of my cinema life. I sobbed like I was on an actual funeral of a family member - that's how invested I was in his story.
With all that's going on in the world right now, I came to watch Endgame reaction videos to be reminded of happier, more united times. Feels like three lifetimes ago.
@@DebaJ99 so as a follower of those characters read a lot of the comics... I'm just not sure how I'm a feel about the next movies unless they have all of them back..
Imo that was very contrived, legit any small insignificant detail from other movies was blatantly stated in this one, it loses its magic. Not saying all of it is contrived, I still love these movies
When I first watched this in theatres I was already crying at Tony's death but when she said she wanted a cheeseburger, me and everyone else in the theatre lost it. That whole Tony funeral scene was so emotional. He's the first superhero I knew
"I went for the head," is clearly a moment of tragedy, not comedy. Thor has acted recklessly, selfishly, stupidly, and the brilliance of that wisecrack is the way those cool words are contradicted by his hot-bloodedness, and his mounting horror and regret.
he killed him right there because he believed Thanos to be telling the truth about reducing the stones to atoms, at which point there is no need to keep him alive any more
The genius of it is using a hero one liner to display the PTSD of the moment. Usually once you behead the villian, every thing is fixed and status quo returns. Here is shows there is no quick fix for Thor, he’s going to have to do the work like we all do to get better
@@felix17fishgames33 sometimes people laugh at tragedies not because its in a mean spirited way but because psychologically its a way of coping. at least thats my opinion.
In Ant Man and Wasp he calls Rogers "Cap" and Wasp looks at him and he says "what? It's what his friends call him." Then in Endgame Wasp replies "we're on it Cap." And Ant Man smiles at her.
I never noticed it before, but you can really see how sick Chadwick Boseman looks at 16:19. The fact that he was still part of this film at that stage of his illness is a testament to his character as a human being. He will be missed
Heck yeah most people didn't notice, I have told people to look at the scene where they do the sweeping shot of everyone to pause and actually look at Chadwick Boseman. They are shocked when I actually see it for the first time
Yes! Only two things have ever made me react this way. Harry Potter when Neville finally shows what he is capable of and Lord of the Rings when the Rohirrim show up at the white city (or pretty much all 3 films)
Those in the audience who laughed when Thor said "I went for the head" might not realize this wasn't for comic relief. It was Thor's way of fixing his failure from Infinity War, which was the basis for his depression in this movie. Had he gone for the head initially it would have canceled Star Lord's selfish, dumbass move therefore saving everyone.
No scarlet witch reaction???? hellll noooooo. she's the only one that Thanos was not able to touch and almost killed thanos only if he didn't cry for help
TonyMobb110 I give a shit about it. But thanks for speaking for everyone else. PS: You seem fragile when it comes to powerful women on screen. Did Mommy not hug you enough as a child?
This movie is so close to my heart. Somehow the entire MCU feels like a weird personal timeline of my life. I have watched every single mcu movie in theatres since the first Thor movie. I was doing my high school back then and ide usually go and watch them with my best friends on the first day of the release.. They were pretty much the only group of guys ide hang out with and I’ve actually known them since I was 7.. Over the years we graduated, found our jobs and got settled with life. slowly as adult life started to kick in, priorities changed and my friends started to rift away one by one. Sadly we are pretty much strangers now and around the release of black panther onward, I had to start watching these movies all alone. When the avengers went back in time somehow I felt I went back with them, looking at my younger self, enjoying the same movie with my friends, cherishing those moments with no idea whats about to hit. I teared up hard when Thor’s mom asked “the future has not been too kind to you has it?” Moral of this story: always cherish and enjoy the time you have because life will hit you hard. Always be grateful to the friends you have in your life. You don’t know when they will walk away.
Bruh, just watching this makes me cry. These characters, this franchise, is apart of me. I am SO glad my friend encouraged me to watch Iron Man that day...It was totally worth it I swear. I just love them so much..Marvel is amazing. I wish I could re-live the day in the cinema. I really do. That day was legendary, and I left happy, rewarded, and just amazed. Thank you, Marvel.
I still get chills every damn when Steve said "Avengers assemble" Also still sniffle everytime I see Tony's funeral and especially the love you 3000 hologram. First time watching that just made me absolutely bawl
Honestly, this is one of the best theater experiences I have ever had. The entire theater was quiet during the entire movie, even during the portals seven, just awed by what we were seeing. Then, right after Cap said assemble and they all started charging, the entire theater, including me, lost their collective minds, and just started yelling and cheering. I would so love to relive that
Every time I watch the scene of Tony’s funeral I start crying when it goes down the line of people. It is heartbreaking to see the sadness on their faces. Seeing Peter. Seeing Harley. And how completely sorrowful they look. 😭😭😭
@@Geo-ku1qlliterally same. this summer i binged all the mcu movies & i am now almost done binging all the series. my first date was to see endgame in theaters & i was not a marvel fan at all. slept at least two hours through the movie. was completely lost throughout the entire thing. biggest regret of my life is not being a marvel fan earlier. it now has a special place in my heart.
The comics helped me make it through my childhood and teenage years. The movies helped me make it through a decade of ups and down broken relationships, great friendships, lost friendships l, destroyed family. I had so much invested I cry every time I see the end
I believe it was a Saturday night: I was watching this film 🎞 in the theatre 🎭 and when everybody came back I SWEAR TO Y’ALL THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE STOOD UP AND CLAPPED like they were at some football 🏈 game:). Best audience ever
But like... how would they? What theater? "ah yes this one random theater in america will go on out special disk that everyone in the world will watch"
I don’t know how people were clapping and giggling on the ‘I went for the head’ line. It was terrifying for me, the trauma and the tragedy in everyone’s eye from the defeat. Everyone in my cinema was dead silent.
Yeah, it’s unfortunate that the point of that scene doesn’t hit home quite as soon as it should. “I’m still worthy,” is the point where Thor realises the things he’s been beating himself up over haven’t stopped him being a hero. It’s the point where Thor realises he’s still Thor.
I watched this movie on imax at the first hour on first day, man, it's epic as fuck, no other movie can make whole damn theater cry and applause like that
@@gabmax7826 perhaps I should have phrased my thoughts better and said : "they know when to be quiet and when to show their excitement ". Do tell me if you have a better word for excitement, I couldn't think of another word.
Coming back after a year, its still up there as best movie I've ever watched. RIP Chadwick Boseman, the legend himself. Sad that he was there for Tony's funeral and now he is no longer here.
I saw this on opening night. When the portals scene happened, the theater I was in absolutely exploded. We cheered through the entire thing!! It was the most magical and fun moviegoing experience I've ever had :'))
This movie is the only one that I get emotional over...I literally became so invested in the characters that I suspend all sense of reality watching this and im witnessing heroes giving their all...brilliantly written and all of these actors are legends for bringing these characters to life. Crazy that I’ve seen the movie 100 times and these scenes still get a reaction out of me...the Russos, Jon Fav, and everyone that worked on these are national treasures. This is hall of fame material.
Looking back. all started with Iron Man. If that did not get the reception it did, the rest wouldn't have happen. And this movie is just the best way a studio to show appreciation to fans that followed the franchise all the way. From the big 3 fighting Thanos to "I am Ironman" that was the best fan service. It is still good when I rewatch it at home streaming. But man the reaction in the theater when I first saw it. Nothing like it.
I'll be perfectly honest.....this is one of the few movies to make me laugh, angry, cry, happy, and excited all at the same time. We lost 2 heroes one in the movie(iron man) and one in the real world(black panther)....now I know there will be more of them in the future but can we just appreciate the fact that they set the standard one what a true hero is. From the bravery to the noble sacrifices they made for not only the characters in those movies but for all of us here in the real world.....may their legacy live on through us all....May Stan Lee smile down on us all......Wakanda Forever🤚😔

I will make my fucking children watch all avengers movie starting from iron man till the last Spider-Man movie
Manar Asl same, and it WILL be tradition to watch all of these movies in maybe the summer and to pass them down generation to generation
I don't care who you are, how "manly" you think you are, but if you've watched every Marvel film, there's no way you weren't shedding at least a few tears at the end of this film. Simply epic.
This Hands Down The Realest Comment Ive Ever Seen
Tony's funeral was one of the saddest moments of my cinema life. I sobbed like I was on an actual funeral of a family member - that's how invested I was in his story.
Real men cried during Tonys funeral
Everytime I watch this movie and tony dies and his funeral I cry, no matter that you know it’s coming there is no way to prepare for it

With all that's going on in the world right now, I came to watch Endgame reaction videos to be reminded of happier, more united times. Feels like three lifetimes ago.

People got so hyped with the "Hail Hydra" moment-reference; now that's what I call long-running true fans.
I was holding back tears when Morgan said she wanted a cheeseburger; I remember Happy giving him a burger in the first Iron Man
Disappointed Prion I was close to the ground crying by then but that only happened at the end with his signature then I was on the ground
Tony’s hologram should have said this to Morgan “and you are my greatest creation”
OMG. Exactly same!
Or maybe, you know, people just found that part funny because they have their own opinions.
@@felix17fishgames33 ha, good point ☺️
@@felix17fishgames33 sometimes people laugh at tragedies not because its in a mean spirited way but because psychologically its a way of coping. at least thats my opinion.

13:47 (In Civil War) Clint: "We haven't met yet, I'm Clint"
Black Panther: "I don't care"
(in Endgame) Black Panther: "Clint......give it to me"
That's cuz he cares.
Cap called Spider-Man Queens too
Exactly, Civil War BP was on a warpath, his father was killed, he was gonna fuck up anyone who stood in his way
He cared enough to remember. T’challa is one of the best characters in marvel.
In Ant Man and Wasp he calls Rogers "Cap" and Wasp looks at him and he says "what? It's what his friends call him."
Then in Endgame Wasp replies "we're on it Cap."
And Ant Man smiles at her.

Those in the audience who laughed when Thor said "I went for the head" might not realize this wasn't for comic relief.
Thor was the best part of the movie

Hell no! Some reactions are fine but i cant stand people screaming “looking at you random black women that likes to clap every second 🌚🌚”
I don’t know how people were clapping and giggling on the ‘I went for the head’ line. It was terrifying for me, the trauma and the tragedy in everyone’s eye from the defeat. Everyone in my cinema was dead silent.
Likewise...
Because the "you should have gone for the head" meme was very popular then and that cinema remembered it
Epic? Mjolnir makes its return and people were dead silent
Lol it made its return way earlier in the movie
Yeah, it’s unfortunate that the point of that scene doesn’t hit home quite as soon as it should.
“I’m still worthy,” is the point where Thor realises the things he’s been beating himself up over haven’t stopped him being a hero. It’s the point where Thor realises he’s still Thor.

It genuinely makes me cry watching the ending, like I have honestly seen it a minimum of 10 times and it does not get any easier
I know it's not necessarily a sad part but when Happy says "I'm gonna get you all the cheeseburgers you want" that got me
i just love how as soon as everyone came back thanos looked at everyone and knew he was done
