I keep returning to your tutorials for everything that I need to do with patterns or sewing because they always make sense and you cover every point that I might come across throughout the process. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience ❤❤❤
Alissa, your tutorial is so helpful as always. Love how you address the details that could be confusing for the novice. Sometimes you have a pattern and wonder how to modify it for a different neckline instead of buying another pattern. Cowl neck is another popular neckline if you have time to add to your tutorials. Thanks.
Hello, hello! Awesome, glad you found it helpful! You can modify so many patterns quick and easy, will save you time and money. Cowl neck, boat neck, envelope neck, some other necklines - on the list, slowly working through the mile long list and building a nice size video library for you :)
Hi. Just to give you a feedback. I tried your turtleneck and my results are great. I did not choose a very stretchy fabric and that was the only worrry. But I can wear it nevertheless. Thank you.
Great video. You are a great freehand “truer”. This is my first video and I enjoyed it, but beginners may not have the skill to true their patterns by hand. So why not show them how to use French curves?
That looks so good! I've been thinking about turtlenecks, but I don't like dragging the necks over my head/face/makeup... I may try to make some zippered ones.
Hi Alisa!! Thanks for taking the time to do these tutorials . There amazing & so easily understand, even for a beginner.. I myself can’t stand anything to closely wrapped around my neck but I can make these for other family members & they’ll totally enjoy them.. I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us to learn…. 💜💜💜🧵🧵🧵
Hii, a million thanks from India, i have been searching for this neckline from last few days.. finally found yours... it was such a nice detailed tutorial, understandable and informative. Thanks a ton again❤
Hello, i really admire how nicely you explain the instructions! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have a question, if you can please to make clear. At front neckline, you signed a new width, at 2,5 inch. but at the end the black drawing reaches the old red shoulder line. Could you please explain me? Thank you!
Jess, you would need to extend the zipper to the turleneck (take the entire zipper out and put a new zipper in... lots of work, if this is already made jumpsuit) or you can draft a turleneck and overlap it a bit and add snaps/buttons to it. You will have to problem solve this as you have the jumpsuit/pattern right in front of you.
Thank you for suggestion, but right now I have no plans for it, as I don't need a garment like this in my wardrobe. I am sure you can find something on youtube/google/books/library.
I don't understand why don't you 1) look up how to draft jeans 2) then look up how to adjust for low waist 3) then learn how to turn pants into shorts...

I changed the depth of the neckline in my case, not the width. You can change either or both at the same time if need to.
@@ThoughtfulCreativity thanks for the immediate response! You are awesome!
I like a mock turtleneck the best.
Hi, want add a turtle neck to my jumpsuit which has a zipper at the back. I was wondering what alteration I will have to do on the turtle neck
