  • Vice President Kamala Harris and music icon Stevie Wonder join forces in Georgia to rally Black voters as part of the nationwide 'Souls to the Polls' initiative. Harris attends church services at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest and Divine Faith Ministries International in Jonesboro, where Wonder is set to perform. The events aim to mobilize Black congregants to vote early in the crucial November 5 election. Harris will also record an interview with Rev. Al Sharpton to be broadcast on MSNBC. Early voting in Georgia began on October 17, with an impressive turnout of over 310,000 on the first day alone. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of the Black vote in determining the outcome of the closely contested election.
