- Dino-Riders is an animated television series that first aired in 1988. Dino-Riders was primarily a promotional show to launch a new Tyco toy line. Only fourteen episodes were produced, three of which were produced on VHS for the United States. The show aired in the U.S. as part of the Marvel Action Universe programming block.

I remember watching these Dino-Riders toy commercials on RUclips alot when I was a kid, good times :)
Plus, what suprised me about the Dino-Riders' villain Krulos is that he's voiced by one of my favorite Transformers voice actors Frank Welker since his Krulos voice reminded me of his Soundwave's lol.

4:16 I was loved these toy commercials. I always saw them as more dino rider episodes and adds more lore to the Dino rider universe. Given that Hammerhead says he's waited a long time for this gunner, I'm guessing these two have a personal vendetta against each other and have are personal Rivals.

Almost have gotten back all the dinos an figures, been a pain in the butt trying to get back all the gear though. Hardest thing to find is the battery covers. I also need a eyeball for my large brachiosaurus. My Rex tail tip is broken off too but its not that bad for display. Really would like to get some dinosaucers too but they cost a fortune because of the short "print".

I got the T Rex and the Mask gas station on my 4th birthday. My brother had the Torosaurus and a deinonychus and struthimimus, and I had the trike, pteranodon, and a protoceratops.
I have no idea why this toyline hasn’t been brought back yet. Imaginext isn’t the same as Dino Riders, Mask, and Computer Warriors. Jurassic Park/World has been close. Proves they could make them more articulated now and 3 3/4” figure scaled DR toys would be great.
Scalpers would ruin it though.

1988. I was given 2 of these as a Christmas present from my Fathers boss. Maybe 1988 ? The bird and the rapter. I remember having zero interest in these toys....
2023. My son gets a dinosaur bird toy from a neighbor for Christmas. My mind instantly flashed back.
