  • My channel isn’t monetized, I just want to share the hard-to-find stuff I loved as a kid.
Clean version of this rare VHS tape. Dino-Riders we’re a hidden gem back in the day, never reaching the heights of Transformers or GI Joe, but man, these were cool and the show was pretty bad-ass as well.
MerMoose Media uploads daily- lots of rare footage, interviews, concert footage, shows- old wrestling stuff as well as new content as well so please subscribe.

I knew I'd never seen the entirety of Dino-Riders when I was a kid in the 80s, but holy crap, I never knew this existed! Thank you SO much for uploading this!

As a kid I never liked this ice age stuff. I was very disappointed that they moved away from Dino's hehe :)

@@mariusjacobs83 thats probably why it died off. dinosaurs and space men scifi, especially in america was all the rage amongst boys in the 80s. ice age paleocene as much as it fell under the paleontology umbrella, it just didnt evoke the same level of awe and fascination.
and i can attest that as a kid i enjoyed anything about paleontology, but i would push a wooly mammoth over if there was talk about dinosaurs lol.

I am surprised how much terms of looks the neanderthals hold up to more modern perceptions (if we ignore the clothing). They are not particularly hairy (but grow beards which are even worn in different styles), they are not stooped over in their stance, they are stocky and muscular and they are shown as being on par with the modern humans in terms of planning.
As for the animals, all but the entelodont are indeed from the Pleistocene.

No of these Mammals lived in snow and ice ^^ (except Mammuts of course). But its a children cartoon and the episode is called "adventure in the ice age" so i think its vergiveable ^^

A Daeodon. Also called Terror Pig. Its a more agressive, mostly carnivorus ancestor of the wild boars from today. But i dont think, that in reality, it attacked a megathyrium. The Daeodons where mostly scavangers. They sure often chase away agressivly biger Predators from theyr prey, but i dont think they hunted prey that is bigger as themself, itself.
