These are dope. Really love the gum sole accent and that old school look. Remind of my rising stars with the boost.
The best buy I ever had... Hands down a very comfortable and good looking shoe that doesn't break the bank..
Reason they didn't call it the iniki is because they were sued for the use of the name iniki (hence why it became the i-5923 which is just the adidas model reference number) still looks like a great pair and I'll definitely be picking them up
I bought them when they originally came out. The stiff material on the tongue cut into my ankle in a way that I couldn’t deal with, so I had to return them. I just wish they would’ve used a different material on the tongue. The sole and upper felt fantastic. I’ve even considered buying them again and cutting down the tongue.
These are so nice and today they started the early aces Black Friday Sale and I bought myself and my dad a pair for $39 each!

These made me do a take two on the Adidas Boost lineup in general because of how plush the Boost midsoles were coming from Nike. I absolutely love these especially the style and cushioning. However, the outsole can get unbearably slippery on the combination of wet and slick surface like smooth tiles found in common restaurants workplaces.

@@ragnarlothbrok938 true to size worked perfect for me. The boost is incredibly comfortable. Honestly more comfortable than my Yeezy 380 boost and my old ultra boost (2018) The materials feel great for a casual shoe. It will be a great spring and summer shoe. Very light and breathable fabrics
Do they make any weird noises while you walk? I just received mine and they make some cracking noises
@@latunniyayechka338 thats what interests me, breathability. I have nmd primeknit and they are so breathable that I cant find a replacement for these. So are your feet cool after whole day in them ? Not stinky etc...

The E5 are my new favourite ultra comfort shoe, I was hesitant to pull the trigger because you hadn't reviewed them yet but they hit a sale and I'm so glad I got them. Don't know if it's different in the acid orange colourway that I have, but definitely go half size up
I still think the UB DNA line are more comfortable, New balance also do some really comfy shoes, but for the price of these you cant go wrong

As long as Adidas keep making shoes with boost I'll keep buying! I religiously buy and wear Adidas now I still have and collect other brands but Adidas with boost cushioning has literally changed my life.
The same way my foot feels before putting on the shoe is the same way it feels after wearing them for 12hrs unlike with other shoes after a long day you just can't wait to take off.
I'm feeling ya on this. The NMDs, Nite Jogger, ZX 2K, ZX 5K, all the other retro/heritage uppers riding on modern tech... great concept from Adidas. All on that bouncy Boost & all winners.
I disagree, though, about the 12 hrs bit. For me, and it's a personal thing, - everyone has different feet - I can wear my NB 998s or Nike AM90s all day and not get discomfort. Same for Brooks (but I wouldn't wear thm around bc they're ugly). Same for Asics Gel-Lyte 3's & Gel Sagas, and Puma RS-X & Riders. Boost is a bit too soft for me & my feet get fatigued from the softness, if that makes sense. Or more accurately, the lack of support. 350v2's are great bc the boost is caged, same for the ZX 5K. Luckily, neither of us have to choose one shoe to wear forever. Here's to many happy miles.

A bit of firmness in the midsole is good if you want stability and prefer firm foot massages

This looks like it's directly modelled on the Adidas Formel1 shoe with its dimpled tongue, the tread pattern, the indented mid sole, the ghilly lacing, and the shock absorbing protruding heel.
that is exactly the shoe but with the added fat stack of boost.
tbh the original "iniki" is/was my 3rd place boost shoe of all time!
Adidas don't bring these out in half sizes in South Africa so I bought a uk11 and they were way too big. Swopped them for uk10 and now sitting with a super tight fit 😔 Still love them so much though I take them out every once in a while and give them a go 😊

would you wear these to say, places like disney world? I hate the idea of wearing running sneakers for long walks, but these retro inspired design with modern cushion technology, I'm really interested.
New balance technology seems softer and bouncier, while Adidas technology seems sturdier and give you the feeling of being more connected to the ground.

These remind me a lot of the NB 574. A little chunky, quite versatile, and really comfortable. And the outsoles are very similar.
The bottoms remind me of the 237's . check those out and see if you agree. First thing that came to mind lol

Honestly, these look so much more premium than the Iniki. I have the black boost adidas i5923 and 2 drawbacks are the toebox suede is super soft and deforms pretty quick but also the sole goes really thin towards the toes so it feels like your foot is sliding down a wedge of boost into soft toebox adding to how easy they deform. I'm down for these, looks like a massive improvement.
I have both and can confirm. These don't have your feet sliding down.

Easily one of the most comfortable shoes i own. Got these in green and white, they seemed to tweak it slightly differently in comparison to the other colours, so they look a lot better imo. Just recently found the triple black on sale for £53. Tried to get them before but they were sold out in my size, would of payed full price so got really lucky.
Not going to lie, when I saw these in stores and considered getting them... But I had other stuff I wanted more at the time

Really digging the casual look. And, compared to the Ultraboosts, very affordable.
Loving how Adidas just made boost more versatile and accessible. Long gone are the days where boost was exclusively a hypebeast thing.

They're more comfortable than the Inikis. The toe box area is more roomier and has more structure.

Has this shoe arch support like ultraboost, or not?
Not all boost is created equally, for example I have some NMD’s that are incredibly stiff and some ultraboost models softer than other ultraboost models, glad to hear these are good.
yup had the same especially with NMD's, My first pair back in like 2018/19 are by far the most comfortable ones I've owned, and its not just the soul either, the whole upper of the shoe was way softer too. Ive had 6 pairs of NMD since then, most recent purchase being just last week and those are stiff af. hoping they will soften up a bit after a few weeks of breaking them in.
Ultraboost DNA's are still superior, not sure about variability between those cos I've only owned two pairs of UB and they are both equally comfy

I tried these in the mall and they are super comfy, comfier than ultraboost for casual wear. I own 5 ultraboost btw. Might have to pick one of these up in a light color way

How do they compare to Ultraboost DNAs?
Not as squishy but a tad more stable. If you're basing as squishy as comfort than these are more comfortable than the UB 19-22. I prefer wearing these compared to my UB DNA's. But I preface this on how someone laces their sneakers. UB's it's just a sock and the lacing is secondary. These you need to lace them up.
