- This is a reupload of collection videos that have been taken down. Luckily is saved them and since people really want them back, I decided to upload them again. If zp or some escapists stuff want the videos taken down, I'll have to sadly take them down. So Idk how long these will stay up, so If I were you, I might want to download the videos. I understand it take up a lot of space so I don't recommend it.

I know I'm necroing this comment pretty hard but The Escapist actually responded to someone who complained about the censoring on one of their videos with a reply that was basically "we have to pay our employees how wonderful it must be for you to be able to afford having ideals and values" (not quite that snarky but they were a bit snippy). It makes me sad that Yahtzee has fallen into a system that he's advocated against for most of his life. In one of his newer reviews his editor has to bleep out him saying "cunt", he can't even have censored penises anymore, and there's not a doubt in my mind that RUclips's threat of demonetization is in the back of his mind as he writes his reviews. Anyone that seriously believes that what the US calls capitalism is a viable system is fucking retarded, it's a maw that exists only to consume. Especially when the governing bodies that are supposed to serve the people do nothing but give breaks to giant corporations we all work for until we're 80, earning money and giving it back because we're bombarded with advertisements all day every day. And RUclips flexes with whatever censorship seems chic at the current moment, tailoring our experiences based on market research to cater to the broadest possible audience. Makes me sick and sad and angry, and to see even Yahtzee fall into line, that just makes me sad actually.
How did they censor him?
@@blinkin78 So for example, they cut a joke from his Prototype review when adding it to the compilation. It's there in the original review video but absent from the official Escapist compilation.

Looking at the commenters who complain about a lack of separation between the episodes, I have to say; I don't think you give yourselves enough credit. I mean sure I got bamboozled the first time it happened but it's very, very easy to get used to.

I have to talk about this somewhere or it will drive me mad. I just woke up from a nightmare where I was in a Pavlov vr map but in real life, fighting hordes of Minecraft zombies, when a massive super hoard arrived, and a creature among them was the handy man, an elongated enderman like creature with human skin and a fucked up moaning voice. They had really giant hands and they killed you by grabbing you and harvesting your organs. They also were bent and contorted into a permanent hunch position

The only thing I would recommend is putting dividers between videos. It doesn't have to be the intro sequence over and over, but it's kind of jarring to go straight from one piece about Torchlight into a rant about God of War clones. Maybe a 2 second black screen (or half a second) just to give people a clear, defined "these are two separate clips" indication. (Or you could shamelessly rip off the AMV Hell method and just use a tv screen with static in between each one.)

@Michael Martin Yes, I know that. But it's still fun to speculate exactly when and where Bioware's downward spiral into what it is today started. See in 2010 they still created games that weren't total flaming garbage, but this was only two years off from Mass Effect 3 and I think we all remember how well that went over with certain people.

The "love" of money is the root of all evil. Everyone always leaves out the first part. Money is just resources. Its the materials you need to do stuff with. Its important, like say a cow for milk. Loving it is like trying to marry all the milkcows because you love milk. Insane, short sighted, and means you're probably not seeing to all those cows sexual needs appropriately. That metaphor got away form me a bit. Sortof like my cows.
I still think FNV's "its just more F3" was his single biggest failure as a reviewer, critic, or connoisseur. Its like saying people who look alike, but are from entirely different family trees, are the same. Also he's patently wrong about people in town (beyond maybe Doc Mitchell or the bartender) "assuming" anything. If he was *asking* about the guy who shot him, as is an option - not a requirement - then they'll fill him in. Otherwise most people are content to tell you fuck all. And you can totally get to New Vegas with a little elbow grease right off. MissieMae, on her blind run, did it by being sneaky and tenacious. I don't think its the best way to play the game but its extremely doable. The world just isn't made to babysit you or your choices.
I feel like it’d be better if it had at least the ending part of each video. It would make things a lot less confusing.

@@First-Last_name these videos predate the escapist complications, all the other compilations from RUclips have been removed, this uploader being popular was allowed to keep theirs up with the ad revenue going to the escapists. By reporting litterarly all you've done is potentially hurt the original uploader, maybe in future attemp research before jumping on the report button
