There's no such thing as "to old" Eastwood is the epitome of the American dream. He worked his ass off, and did it all on his own. He made his own movies, with his own money because Hollywood wasn't interested, but he didn't give up. He kept on fighting. He ended up having to leave the Country I believe to make one of his movies because of budget issues, released it in that Country, and the rest is history.
