Also, Omega, thanks for playing this game. If it wasn't for your videos, I probably wouldn't have rescued it from the shadows of my collection to give it a chance, even though I'm a big fan of the Tales of series by now. Gotta say, It has been a rather challenging ride, nowhere near as smooth as the way you're playing (and dude, you're awesome! That's MANIA mode you're playing and yet you curbstomp everything who dares cross swords with you! XD) . But it seems the end is near. I'm getting close to Elraine, at last!
Nice manipulation of Barby's AI there, and all while keeping Kyle at 1 HP! One screwup would have lost the fight.
The cutscene gets major points for the Destiny 1 nostalgia, the touching moment for Lion and Wakamoto's epic death scream.
Barbatos was like: "ORRRRRUUUPPHAAANSSSS NAMIDAAAAA"
No items ever no healing ever no spells ever that guy is epic x)

wow after reading the description i would have to say barbatos is a pretty interesting boss is he the only boss that does this in the series? if so that kinda of sucks or is really a good thing depending on how you look at it XD
+Supermari0078 Yeah, while I wish they would revisit Barbatos' boss design of countering a lot of the player's options (the way he does it obviously... not random like some other boss AI). I think its fitting its something unique to him and at this point in the series it would feel kinda wrong if it wasn't coming from Barbatos himself xD (then again, they seem to have no problems rehashing Dhaos' boss design and move set, so who knows... )

Yeah, I am in the boat that thought this fight was easier than the 2nd fight. But don't get me wrong, this battle was just as frustrating, but a fun frustrating.

Btw, does anybody know how to cancel a spell you're using, and how to make sure a character does not use a specific arte during battle?
A little late, but hold square and press up to cancel a spell. And to stop a character from using a certain arte go into their arte menu and press triangle to enable/disable artes.

Barbatos 3 already? (im not familiar with this game, just the characters from it) i mean, Barbatos Slim tried again for another dirty ambush tactic. Yet it would seem his champion limbo skills have finally failed him for the last time!
