I love how in the middle of a 50-hit combo Guy just says "I'm not doing too well".
Shocking. This badass is on Unknown. He has one character and one HP. This should be impossible. But here it is.

Amazing run, omega! This battle was extremely flashy and entertaining with several close calls thrown in, and Abyss has some of the finest final boss music out there!
I still think it is such a cool detail that the cutscene between phase 1 and 2 is different if Luke/Tear aren't in the party and depending on which character P1 is
Dat description. Gotta say, you made a No Damage run look completely effortless, close calls and all. Fantastic and stylish run through and through!

A great ending to a great run. Congrats, omega, especially with the no damage restriction! Enduring around 15 minutes of constant pressure and not making any noteworthy mistakes is impressive as hell.

I really love how you’ve been able to extend your combos without relying on Dragon Tempest all the time during the run. It was also very nice to see some underrated Artes like Soaring Light Spear.

Damn, I always thought I was decent with Guy back in the day but Omega you are a gawd! Abyss was probably and still is my favorite tales games. Watching these videos really takes me back. Keep up the awesome videos Omega XD

Man that razing pheonix usage at 10:44 was just beautiful, great job on this fight overall though, this was definitely the best fight in the run to me.

Marvelous work on this run. Tales of the Abyss has always been my favorite game of all time and this was loads of fun to watch.
More importantly as always great job on the fight. As I've noticed in all of the other fights you LOVE to dance at Ground Dashers edge. And that clever word play of yours in the description made me think you would finish him with Final Cross and you did. Swell work (Claps)

Too many close calls in this one! Damn, can't believe it's over...I would have loved to see you fight against Nebilim. It was an enjoyable solo run and a great one too, can't wait for the next one.
Decided to stick with the game's original soundtrack for this I see. But regardless, fantastic job on this whole run. I hereby declare the legend of Guy the Cecilhog solidified by the name of Omega! :D

Abyss was my first Tales game, loved it, but I played through it on hard my first time and was like "Jesus I hate this fight".

Hey Omega! Great video! love your vids! Big fan! I don't usually comment on vids, but wanted to ask, how do you build Guy and like Luke to do such long basic attack combos and arcane arte combos like you do in the video?
Nicely done! It's always a delight to watch you dominate in Tales games. (It went by so quickly, though. Makes it feel like a few bosses were skipped...)

This is the first solo run you've done that I've been able to follow from the start - it's been fun watching for the new videos. I notice you haven't done any Xillia 2 solo runs - sorry if this has been asked, but are there any plans to with the English release?
Had no idea there are different conversations with Van when you don't have Luke and Tear in the party.
The entire ending is different, in this one Luke will KILL Van rather than make Lorelei blow him up.

Well, either way, awesome run. The bosses being too slow and all of those clutch moments, made for some very entertaining stuff. Not to mention the exellent gameplay. Looking forward to ToX2!

i never knew that there were different conversations depending on the character you play as because i always just played as luke are there others as well like with tear or jade also really close call with the ground dasher guardian frost combo after celestial elegy
i think if luke is in the party it will always be his conversation and if tear is in but not luke it will be hers but i'm not to sure on that
These characters and their moves are just asking to be put into smash

Yea. He does. If you want another ending move luke or tear or guy or anyone out of the team

i remember not knowing what the heck is up with Vaan's final form. why is he all "Soul Edge Calibur" again?
Well Van had Lorelei trapped inside himself who is the spirit of the Seventh Fonon. And if you remember what happened to Mohs when he tried to use the Seventh Fonon it's not really that surprising why Van gets a purple arm.
He kind of unleased Lorelei's full potential, so to speak. Thus resulting in the strange appearance.
Rather than keeping it dormant and allow him to exist in a corporeal form for longer, he is using all of that power at once. Or most of it, at least.

+Braden Hamilton (Kirbyterasu) Simple Every form is a new battle meaning you can use Brilliant Overlord.
+KaiNaruKami actualy Brilliant Overlord has no usage restriction, you can use it as much as you want in 1 fight.

how do i get brilliant overlord for guy?
1. Seecond Playthrough or later
2. Jewel of Gradious Equipped (Look up a guide to figure out that sidequest)
3. Final Cross used 150+ Times
4. Guy at 1/3 HP or less
5. Use Final Cross in Overlimit
6. Only Usable in NA PS2 or Worldwide 3DS Versions

Yes, but you still can't use Brilliant Overlord on a first playthrough. It is a missable sidequest, that's why I said to look at a guide
