At the moment, I'm not moving onto The Brrrgh until I max my Sound, Throw & Squirt. My Throw and Squirt are close to being maxed, I recently got Hypno so I could train alongside finishing up Throw & Squirt. Sound will take ages to max, so I'll be spending alot of time doing that. I've only been doing VP's during Storm Sellbot (it's way too bloody easy) and won't do so again until I'm higher later on.
Thunderslam Toontown Oh trust me, it's been an absolute annoyance to use spare time just to train bloomin' gags, but the new Group Tracker for Rewritten is very useful, especially if you want to do a building in an empty long-running invasion district.
Wasn't a fan of the CCG back in TTO. Most of the Toons were shit and they constantly broke there own rules. Haven't tried them on TTR, but I feel like I may need to when I unlock the CJ, since I hear literally nobody does that boss, which is a shame.

Here is what I think: Maxed gags would make it so that you could do the VP with no worry and confidence. I personally think that 8 toons with 2 level 6 gags could make it through the VP with good coordination, gag combos, and other important strategies. The thing with this is that Level 6 gags vary in damage. The problem might be that you are inviting someone with a birthday cake that can do anywhere from 48-100 damage. Maxed gags assure that the level 6 gags does it's maximum damage.

Max Sound and you're good. I do recommend getting you're Toon-Up a little higher, but it's not as important as Sound, and Trap can just be a work in progress.

On TTR, I did an experiment where I maxed my Gags as soon as I got them, meaning I had maxed Throw and Squirt leaving TTC, maxed Toon-Up leaving DD, maxed Lure leaving DG, maxed Trap leaving TB, and I'm currently working on maxing Sound in DDL. I did this to add extra challenge to the Playgrounds, I wouldn't let myself complete the final tasks without completing that Gag Track. While this guarantees amazing Gags by 100 Laff, I don't really recommend doing this strategy, unless you want an extra challenge to the playgrounds.
Here's a tip if your training a gag If there's a invasion do a 5 or 4 story building There's a experience multiplier up to 6x! I got 250 points from throw after the cog building I did! Please like if this helped :^)

I'm replying to an ancient video at this point, but, I think that new toons are just trying to figure out where they need to be to be able to do VP properly. The SB factory is so much easier that it's hard to compare the difficulty. Gotta grind for hours tho, hopefully not too many if you do it smart!
Yeah that's what I was thinking when watching this video. I think calling All Level 6's and 2 Maxed Gags the bare MINIMUM is way too demanding, I've been in VP's with 40 - 50 laff toons multiple times and it went fine, you just have to actually think about what you're doing a little bit instead of spamming trunks and fogs every turn.
My first VP was at around 63 to 65 Laff. All of my friends had been going in doing a whole bunch of VPs at 44 Laff. I got my suit at 57 Laff but I had wanted to stay and train up my gags. I wanted to max at least three gag tracks before I actually went into a vp. I had maxed throw, lure, and squirt. Then I finally went in.

Heck for me I think the most optimal is 81+ laff it's not needed but its the most. Obviously gags are very important and the #1 priority. For me If you have Cream Pie, Elephant Trunk I would Probably take you especially if your carry TU because even something as low as lipstick can be in my eyes considered "Contributing" To me My Laff Guide 40-44 Your at Minnies(Cream Pie, Fire Hose(depends though how your training) at 3000 XP Squirt 4000+ Throw and some gag that's lV5) 55-60 Your getting Bday Cake It should be Maxed because just plain cake isn't much better than pie. Sound should be n the road to being maxed at this point or you should be heavily grinding Lure. Storm Cloud would be nice to have but again its not needed. 70-80 Sound should be maxed because if you think VP restrictions are hard , toons will not take you through mints without that. If you have lure train that to hypno. Having BOTH hypno and max sound is very encouraging for toons to take you wth them. And no excuses now because you can solo train buildings. TTR had a special thing called "storm sellbot hq" it was like a thing where all the cogs where lower level so lower levels toons could get in and have a look

I refuse to VP anymore unless they're my friends. I have 65 laff and maxed gags, running dropless. I've Vp'd the past 4 times and everyone kept totally fucking me over, even when I was carrying everyone. It's really not hard to keep my laff at least in the 30's. I just always get the greeners, ugh.

Why do people act like Level 5 gags aren't good enough for the VP? Did everyone forget that at one point in time, Level 7 gags didn't exist? Having all your gags at Level 5 was the same back then as having all your gags at Level 6 today.

Are my gags good for my laff, and to VP?
I'm replying to an ancient video at this point, but, I think that new toons are just trying to figure out where they need to be to be able to do VP properly. The SB factory is so much easier that it's hard to compare the difficulty. Gotta grind for hours tho, hopefully not too many if you do it smart!
Yeah that's what I was thinking when watching this video. I think calling All Level 6's and 2 Maxed Gags the bare MINIMUM is way too demanding, I've been in VP's with 40 - 50 laff toons multiple times and it went fine, you just have to actually think about what you're doing a little bit instead of spamming trunks and fogs every turn.

My first VP was at around 63 to 65 Laff. All of my friends had been going in doing a whole bunch of VPs at 44 Laff. I got my suit at 57 Laff but I had wanted to stay and train up my gags. I wanted to max at least three gag tracks before I actually went into a vp. I had maxed throw, lure, and squirt. Then I finally went in.

If you can solo the long factory, no SOS attached, you're pretty much qualified for VP, imo.

How can one be expected to max three tracks by Dreamland? I have about 7000 and throw and squirt, and my third best is like 2100 in toonup starting Dreamland. Am I just undertrained, or is this normal?

Honestly for me I stress laff a bit too because if you don't have at least 40 laff and all sound misses or something goes wrong they could die. Heck for me I think the most optimal is 81+ laff it's not needed but its the most.
Obviously gags are very important and the #1 priority. For me If you have Cream Pie, Elephant Trunk I would Probably take you especially if your carry TU because even something as low as lipstick can be in my eyes considered "Contributing"

40-44 Your at Minnies(Cream Pie, Fire Hose(depends though how your training) at 3000 XP Squirt 4000+ Throw and some gag that's lV5)
55-60 Your getting Bday Cake It should be Maxed because just plain cake isn't much better than pie. Sound should be n the road to being maxed at this point or you should be heavily grinding Lure. Storm Cloud would be nice to have but again its not needed.
70-80 Sound should be maxed because if you think VP restrictions are hard , toons will not take you through mints without that. If you have lure train that to hypno. Having BOTH hypno and max sound is very encouraging for toons to take you wth them. And no excuses now because you can solo train buildings. Lure does not to be maxed in my opinion, just have hypno. If it is organic that's even better.
So Sound-Max Throw-Max Squirt-Hopefully Maxed if not its ok Lure-To at least hypno
Again the main gags I'm looking for are MAX sound(most imperitive) and max throw.

Remember rule #1: it is never a good idea to train gags during a boss battle.
Th3_Dune_RaTs Maxed gags is the "safe" way to go. I personally think 8 toons with 2 level 6 gags can take down the VP, as long as they are smart. And yes, don't train in boss battles.
