Very interesting analysis of Jimin and how he has developed. The more time goes on, the more I think that the guys' solo projects were a blessing. They have all had the opportunity to stand alone and prove themselves as individuals. When they reunite, it's going to be phenomenal! 💜

Nobody can interview BTS better than BTS. They know the questions we want interviewers to ask them. I get so tired of the weak and soft questions they are always asked about, I want to know what motivates them, why did they arrange a song the way they did, what are they working on next. I love the album exchange between members and hope this is something we will get more of.

I wish we could remind the boys that when they put out an album and look back at it later, that even though they may be embarrassed about where they were in their life, that someone out there listening to their old album is right there, in that same place in their own life. The comfort the knowledge of getting through it all with their music should never be underestimated! ❤

We have been hearing this from Jhope, RM, and Jimin, and in ways all of the members - the concern of losing their passion, for RM the frustration of being the leader. It really shows that they had burnt out on all of the constant making albums and all of the promotions, videos, etc.. that really were non stop until 2022. They had exhausted themselves in every way. This break has given them such an opportunity to process the last 10 years and to learn to stand on their own and appreciate so much more what they have with each other and BTS. And the maturing they have done over this break is awesome. And it is interesting to note that the military is actually giving them a break from being BTS and their personas. One of the members said they are more just Korean citizens serving in the military Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon, Park Jimin, etc... just like all male Korean citizens. Though it is something they would rather not have had to do it is giving them more of a break and making them appreciate all the more what kind of life they have and what they can do as BTS. Now JIn is getting to go through what the rest have experienced in the last two years. So nice of Jimin and RM to give us the chance to see the real people that make up BTS.

The problem with main stream media, IMHO is you have people with little to no knowledge on the creative process involved to create a character, a song, a painting , whatever. How can one ask intelligent questions when they don't know a thing about it? Hence we get dumb question on repeat with each interview. I have seen excellent interviews as well, rolling stone has done a couple really good ones, of course Suga's talk show is so good for artists of all kinds and I look forward to him continuing with that. PLus I'm always on the look out for older interviews with people that are also muscians.

I'll forever love RM for acknowledging again Jimins power & cornerstone if the shift in attention to BTS. He did so during award show interviews and other times, but now when as a soloist breaking through the cages to western market as they all are. They may be days when a live goes wrong, some xenophic goofball does their thing or heaven forbid, a cold. He was then w/o the recent growth so he can tap in and has a deeper reservoir to draw from. Also glad to hear Jimin himself giving himself a break.

I really liked your analysis. With any of the songs by the BTS members, the meaning is much deeper than what can be seen in the lyrics. In the video for Jacket Shoot Sketch (I think that's how it's written) Jimin commented that he was sure that Army would come to the wrong conclusion and that amused him a lot. Most people stick to the romantic idea of the couple (Jimin wants to have a girlfriend) and don't see beyond that. The search for passion is closer to the title of the Muse album. Passion is his muse.

Agreed. I often think Jimin's sweet, and shy, nature can lead to him being underestimated by many people. They forget how much he contributed to many of BTS' songs - especially when it comes to the melody; or sometimes just suggestions about a direction. We have heard the others talk about it on lives, etc. how Jimin did this for a song... Or created this... Or came up with a dance move... Or melody... Or a dozen other things he doesn't always get official credit for.
I also love how those closest to him recognize his talents and skills - and potential. We all know that Yoongi has pushed Jimin many times to do more, learn more, prove himself (often to himself) more. But Namjoon also recognizes, appreciates, and encourages Jimin. Because they know what he is capable of. And, given the chance, he will be a force unequaled.

I'll definitely rewatch MiniMoni Music Exchange pt2.
What fascinates me is how Jimin still didn't reveal much about himself. He reenforced our knowledge about his dedication, hard work and work ethics but we didn't really learn anything new about Park Jimin as a person (maybe that it was a while since, he had a crush on someone 🤭). Namjoon was also very respectful with his questions and didn't go where Jimin would be uncomfortable. I love them so much!

I always enjoy your interpretation. I don't always see it the way you do. However, I agree with you about the growth of their relationship. All the members have mentioned how mature and supportive Jimin is. I believe he has a very high EQ. Even his father mentioned it. Yet, the way Namjoon was able to lift and support him during Jimin's album review is great. He helped point out his strengths when Jimin showed doubts. Yet, he was completely happy that Jimin was able to understand him during his album review. To be able to really listen and give constructive criticism in a natural way is rare in friendships. I believe all the members of BTS are like that. I really enjoyed both album exchanges.

Both RM and J-Hope (and I think Yoongi) have said that Jimin is, in many ways, the most mature member in the group. Yet he balances that out with a youthful playfulness that can be quite disarming.

Instead I felt very bitter, because it has often been said that between RM and JH there is a great harmony and a friendship far beyond what we see. That they supported each other a lot, also because of the absence of the age barrier: no hyung, only direct and informal language. Let's not forget that RM addresses Jimin with "tu" (second person singular) but Jimin addresses RM with "voi" (second person plural) [easier to understand in Italian than in English]. I remember RM's weeping eyes, when JH enlisted. But even friendships change.

MMM Exchanges were very interesting and insightful. Exposing your thoughts, feelings and emotions with so much honesty is very difficult to do especially for an artist. It is comforting to know that Jimin, RM and the rest of the members have taken the approach of “healthy striving” that helps them find a middle ground between high performance and perfectionism to help them pursuit and achieve self-confidence and self-contentment. They don’t have to prove themselves, we know their worth and greatness. Staying true to yourself is the key to happiness. My best wishes to OT7 .💜 Waiting and Fighting 🔜 2025. I get that the guys have been trained to be vague about personal feelings about actual relationships and try to make it seem as it’s about ARMY…..but these men are nearing their 30’s and for anybody to think that they haven’t had relationships…..well that is just naive. The members even said that being physically apart from each other actually made them even closer. I also believe that their solo activities really helped them realize their own identity as artists. The only downside that I notice in their chapter 2 is the fandom. It’s evident how divided a good chunk of the fandom have become and solo stans are so intense and loud. The numbers are also decreasing in their recent releases and I’m so worried. but jimin was in charge the whole way through and jimin was the last person i could see doing this. not the working hard part, but be confident enough to take it all on an be confident in himself and his ability. he was always so insecure so i think this will change him so much. just look what a smash this album is making. i dont think i have seen army more excited before

I feel like people take his humility and humble nature as him being insecure. He is humble to a fault and is a real perfectionist, who just holds himself to a higher standard. He's his own worst critic, but the foundation of his perfectionism is laid on sheer confidence and determination. From what I've seen of Jimin and as he has always stated, he's always been a leader and beyond determined in whatever he does. It's like he himself has stated multiple times, that no matter what he can make his own way, I knew the day I saw him say that, he wasn't flexing, or bragging or boasting but it was beyond evident just how much confidence he has in himself. And if people pay enough attention, he has been this way since the beginning.

My impression is exactly like yours, and for me, it was confirmed (again) when he said at festa that he had so far achieved everything he set himself. Anyone with a bit of life experience will know that the occasional doubt or low (and in Jimin's case, being able to and having the guts to articulate it publicly) doesn't equate to insecurities.

A lot of people don't fully comprehend how much courage it must have taken for the maknae line to start as solo artists at such a height of their career. Some of the things they've had the courage to do are wild. With Jimin, it takes courage to come out writing your own songs. With Jungkook, it takes courage to put yourself out there and be ambitious. With V, it takes courage to choose to display yourself as you are on your very first album. And they did it exceptionally well. It's no easy feat.
RM, SUGA and j-hope have completed a solid arc with their solo albums. It feels like they all have had a personal breakthrough through their latest album. What's next for them is anybody's guess. It's an exciting mystery.
With Jimin's 2nd album I also see another arc forming but it's just a notion I have atp.
I'm super curious to know what Jin's approach is going to be. There are so many directions it could go in.
I'm so excited for what they have to offer as a group next when it all adds up. There's a lot to enjoy currently, as well as a lot to look forward to!

Yes, I think they are good together, they know how to draw out each other's vulnerabilities and embrace them as a good character quality... because it makes them unique. Jimin appreciates RM's gifts and RM appreciated Jimin's and just hearing that he admires him encourages RM. A good leader normally builds up each team member highlighting their good qualities and encouraging them to take risks to grow, and sometimes the team forgets to build up the leader... BTS does this very well though, but still, after a long time of not seeing the rest of the team, RM really needed the very honest love of Jimin.

I really love your analysis. I read that and K Arny traduced the part of "crush" to unrequited love. This definited change the meaning.❤

Thank you for another thoughtful analysis. I often have literal interpretations and I rely on thoughtful ARMYs like you to dig deeper because I know BTS always has more symbolic meanings behind their lyrics and MVs that they don’t share with us. I appreciate the thoughtful and respectful ways ARMY can share their ideas while supporting OT7 and their talents. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
