  • Here is a snippet from our walk around the Derbyshire village of Little Eaton.
The village is steeped in history, as everywhere is if you look hard enough, and far enough back.
In this particular snippet, we take a look at a 250 year old bridge that lays hidden in the woods above the village.
Once connected to Barton Quarry, it now serves as a public right of way, but I would wager that most of the people that cross it, don't even realise they have.

I really enjoyed watching your video about the historic sites in Derbyshire. Best wishes to you and your great father David and everyone in the Icke family. Thank you.

Ace! Online it says there used to be a log cabin quarryman’s house in the quarry, now hidden by trees.

@julesswindel630 oh that's awesome. The quarry next door has a massive house built inside it now

Another cracking video mate. Always put together so well.
I have a suggestion for you. The abandoned Meon Valley railway is very intresting, and has a few locations that you can still see near complete platforms. Well worth a consideration.

Yes, it's great there. My friend used to live in Alton and we walked that a couple of years back. Definitely one for next time I'm down south!

Yes. I live in Odiham near to Alton. Only a 30 minute drive to the Meon Valley. Think there is also a abandoned line in the Test valley also. 😊
