What a nice choice of techniques and styles. Your videos always have clear, succinct instructions and you're also good at anticipating what questions we might have about a given project. Congratulations on your success and may it continue on into 2023. You're clear a hardworking and diligent crafter and I commend you.
Wow, Simon, both of your cards today are gorgeous! I never thought you could use the shadow stamp over an embossed image like you did with the birds. Genius. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
First - HAPPY NEW YEAR SIMON! I have to say - you are one of the most creative guys I know! Love the way you play with all the supplies and your stamps! Thanks for sharing your creative musing with all of us!
Thanks for introducing me to the Nuvo powders, these are so beautiful! Can't wait to try them! I also appreciate your tips on watercoloring. I'm going to give those a try.
Love your creative ideas. Love the snowflakes with water.. had no idea it could make that sort of white out effect with the heat gun. I would think I needed to use white ink. I forget about my shimmer powders. Great reminders.. love both the backgrounds and cards..thanks for reminding us to mix sets with different sentiments. I think I get tunnel vision sometimes. Lol 🥴 You gave me some ideas to try now.
I loved them both, however, because you used that big stamp with a section that peels off AND bends to appear to be a hill,... WOW! The craft cardstock & the lovely colourful background too! There was so much in this one that I have to say YES to Yeti! The white on a gr8 font greeting stepped it up again! TFS Simon 🥰🦘🦘🦘 from Adelaide South Australia. May 2023 be a happy crafting year for all! ❤️
Nicely done Si!! I'd have to pick the Cardinals card, it reminds me of my late Grams Love for them!! But the lil Yeti is Adorable too! LOL Keep em comin' Dear! Hugs my creative & crafty Friend XOXOXO
✨ Simon Hurley ✨ I love every aspect of your video from your excellent editing, clearly showing what effects you're making, to explaining your creative processes. Thank you for leaving music out! Seeing you in action makes me realize I haven't been in a creative mood for a while. Thank you for inspiring me! Can't decide which one I like best although the water & snowflake trick left me slack jawed.
Really Simon.... These cards are awesome! Love birds stamp set so so much, I also love how you inked and shaded them. That background..... Fantastic!! Love how your inks react with water. I just finished up collecting them and trying them out. Btw, did I hear you mention a new color whilst coloring the yeti's horns? That card with the stamps bended to a hill... Great thinking!! 👍
Thanks for another awesome video - I love the yeti card and will definitely try the shimmer powders for a northern lights style background. Both cards turned out great!
